11.23 condo

Hi everyone,

We got home last night, but I was too tired to open a condo and today has gotten away from me! Rusty did indeed get a "fur shot" on Thanksgiving night, and then, yesterday morning, he got another one (this one unintentional). $2 for the basket!! Back-to-back furshots! I'm really outdoing myself! Anyway, Rusty had a good trip home yesterday and was a purrfect traveler. Today he is coming down from the bounce and hopefully won't bounce back up too high.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope that you all did, too. It was warm in NYC, but snow on the ground here.

bbl, going down to hold Rusty's bowl and to watch "The Lady Eve" on Turner Classic Movies.

Glad you had a good trip! If you thought it was warm here, it must be relative, which I assume it is if you have snow already! My girls said (through their chattering teeth, watching the parade) "why did the coldest day we've had yet this season, have to be on thanksgiving day?" ;) That being said, we've yet to turn on our radiators and our apt is plenty warm (even had some windows cracked).

Bummer on the fur shots, but Rusty looks like he wasn't too bothered and is back to business! :D

My high school band marched in the Macy's parade every year (this was in the '50s). Each year it was so cold that the brass players had to try to keep their mouthpieces from freezing to their lips. Fortunately our uniforms were wool!

I have a new title for our lagoonmeister....

Majestic Suburban Porch Lion

:):):):)
Rusty approves!

'night all. The movie was good.

What a neat experience! ...but the mouthpiece part, not so fun. We were spoiled by the unseasonably warm fall, so we thought it ill timing to get cold just in time for the parade, had fun anyway!

Hi Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Ah Rusty.... The bean give you another fur shot? You have survived that well! Look at all that green and blue. :D:D:cool: The lagoon meister for sure, or better yet Majestic Suburban Porch Lion. :) Surf well Rusty!

It sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We did too. My DD cooked, Nicholas and William were the perfect hosts. so excited to have everyone at their home. Sure was a nice time with family. Hard to believe that it is that time of year once again. The boys love the holidays. and to think on Christmas Nicholas will be 7. Where does the time go???? We are all well, as are the kitties. Vanessa continues to have no visible side affects from her lymphoma treatment. For that I continue to be very grateful. We did BW this weekend, and I am very anxious to see what it tells us. We should have results this Monday. For now, she continues to be one happy kitty, life is normal for her. Our tree went up today... Lola's favorite holiday. Way earlier than I would liked, but weekends etc are just too busy going forward, the time was now. The Christmas kitteh did not disappoint, she climbed it within five minutes.:joyful:o_O:):):):) But... it is still standing. The boys will be happy. We now enter the season where there is no rest. it is amazing the amount of activities that they have planned. Keeps me busy! The mountain passes here have now opened for skiing, they made it before Thanksgiving, a record for some of them,m earliest opening. So... my hiking has moved to the lowlands. Now if I can get the weather to cooperate, all will be well. Lots of rains this month.

Take care! Hope you are both well. :cat:

Hi Michelle, What a fun Thanksgiving, and you didn't have to cook!
We will be thinking good thoughts tomorrow for Vanessa's test results.
Oh, Lola, what a lucky kitty you are to have the Xmas tree up early!!

Hope you get out on a hike sometime during the holidays. These are busy times for sure, and with the 2 boys so active in their various pursuits, they'll be even busier. Have fun!

Ahh, Michelle, I miss your condos! You need to do one every now and then to update us! Paws are crossed here for Vanessa's test results.

Rusty, you sure know how to recover from back to back fur shots! Nothing keeps the LagoonMeister from his appointed rounds for long!

Thanks so much Tricia. I just may do that... maybe a holiday one to update all the old timers that still remember us. It has been such a long time, lots has happened since then. :joyful: Thanks on Vanessa. I will post an update on that, probably in Rusty's most current condo, sometime today. Results were excellent! :joyful::joyful::joyful::joyful::cat:
