good Morning from the big city, everyone (and pardon any typos),

We are relaxing this morning -- we all went btb -- and are listening to a centennial broadcast of one of the giants of jazz: Teddy Wilson. WKCR, the terrific jazz station from CoLumbia University, is devoting 100 hours of non-stop air time to his recordings. They started on Thursday and will wrap up at midnight tonight. Oh, this is such great stuff!!!

Rusty had a good night sleeping with his beans on the futon. Maybe he'll bring his numbers down a little today. Good test, shot, breakfast of Wellness Turkey. Today he and his pals will visit Central Park. Edward and I will go out for a stroll there, too. Tonight we are having dinner at a friend's. Tomorrow morning the opthomologist, tomorrow afternoon the dentist, lunch with friends inbetween. Also Trader Joes and Petco. If the weather cooperates I may go bicycling with the old group on Tues. morning, then some Xmas shopping in the afternoon. We go back to the mountains on Wednesday.

Not a bad number after the car trip. Do hot dogs have carbs? :lol: Have fun in the city and hope the medical stuff goes smoothly.

It sounds like things are off to a great start there in the big city. Your day sounds wonderful - enjoy!!!

Rusty seems to be doing well there - blues aren't too bad. I hope he can hold onto that while you guys are there. Well done Rusty!

Mannie has grab his bags and has flown out the door. Off to the big city he says... :cool:

Central Park!?! Shasta's never been to a big city!!!! She'll be so excited to people watch, but I think bird watching is more her style!!! Nice number for Rusty this morning. Hope he has a nice slide into the greens today (may want to stay away from those hot dogs!) :lol: Have a great day!

Morning Ella and Rusty! Sounds like the trip is going well and you have a lot of fun things planned! What a good boy Rusty is. Now come on down for your mama today. Have a fun fabulous weekend!

Hi Ella......I hope you and Edward had a wonderful day around town today. :-D

I'm sure the kitties all had a blast in Central Park, eating roasted chestnuts, chasing squirrels, and maybe a little dog or two. :-D
 
Hi again,

I'm sure the kitties spent some time on "Cat Hill" admiring the panther (great pic, Ann). Lots of tourists were gathered there. We had a good day and a fun dinner with our friend.
Rusty had a bit of a delayed bounce, but seems to be coming down tonight. He always does this on these trips.

Thanks for visiting. I talked to Roni this afternoon and she sounded good. They have a new car.

Eye doctor and dentist tomorrow, and lunch with old friends.

I'll check in at some point.
