Morning My dearest LL....My saviors, my friends..
Finally, our lives are getting a little more settled, more normal, and easier...
I have never been in a darker place than the last month, and are seeing the light again...
My DH hasnt been back to work yet, nor have I, but hopefully I will find a car today, & he will feel better about going back.
Moonie seems to be much better & is adjusting well finally..She is eating, pooping, affectionate, and more like her normal self but a little weaker. She is on Cyproheptadine for appetite & histamines, pepcid & miralax and this is what works for her..They gave me reglan & carafate, but Moonie went wild having all that syringed down her throat..I think It made her much worse...She is eating about 2 cans a day and whatever she will eat I give her..LC, MC, or HC, she needs to eat. She feels skinny, but is jumping somewhat up on the couch & pulls herself up on the bed..She is finally affectionaTE AGAIN!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Both ER vet (vet who put her on lantus) AND OUR REG VET are both calling & concerned about Moonie...They both went away for Holiday & called before they left-My My Moonie is so Loved!!
They want us to do another u/s and aspiration of the intestinal tumor..Last results were inconclusive.
I am torn about putting her through even one more thing...But I guess we need to know.

Again To YOU ALL, Thank You for all the donations, Love, support,and kindness you have given us during this difficult time...YOU HELPED US SO MUCH!! It Meant so much to us...Prayers for Moonie would still help, she is so loved..our deepest Love to all of you..I will try to stay on here as much as possible-

Hi Roni - it is good to hear from you. I am so glad that all is looking better, brighter and getting back on track. This is good. I wish you guys much luck.

Very good on Moonie. She too is getting back on track. I am sure being more settled has helped her too. :-D :-D How wonderful that the vets are calling to check on here. That is very nice. Good luck with the U/S.

A Moonie condo! That is surely a good sign that things are looking up. :-D :-D I can't imagine how difficult this past month has been for you all. Continuing to send healing energy and good thoughts to you and sweet Moonie. We give cypro to Zener for appy stimulant, just 1/32 of a pill is enough to get him going. Big hugs to you, Roni.

Sending vines to find the right car today, which will make a big difference. It sounds like you have two very caring Vets, and that means the world to you, I know. I'm sure they both see what a loving and caring caregiver you are to Moonie. Praying for you on the decision for the u/s and aspiration of the tumor. Glad you are able to post today and to hear things are starting to turn around. Disasters really shake the foundation and make us realize
we aren't in charge. It's so tough to cope with.
Still praying for you and Brad and Moonie.
I know how good it feels to get that affection again from Moonie. The days without it make things feel even more disjointed.

I'm glad things are settling down.

When you talk to your vet(s), could you ask about why they are prescribing both cyproheptadine and a histamine? Cypro is an antihistamine. I would think they are cancelling each other out.
 
YAY!!!!! I love seeing condos from you and Moonie!!! Love hearing that Moonie is getting back to her affectionate self and that she's eating well...nice AMPS! Cool to hear that your vets called to check on Moonie. Of course Moonie is well loved...no surprise on that one! :-D Still praying for you all and Moonie!!! Blessings and ((hugs))!!!

Great to see the Moonie condo again! Welcome back Roni! Good luck with finding the right car.
Wish Moonie can settle down & get better soon. Poor thing, she must have missed her family life terribly.
Please give Moonie more time to settle down first before another scary vet visit & checkup. No matter how calm our kitty may act in the vet office, I am sure they are really terrified & stressed.
I know how we all would want to find the cure for Moonie, but please be patient. You can see that she is getting a bit better, right?
 
Roni I'm glad things are looking better for you. I'm sure getting settled in the new apartment has helped Moonie. Good luck with the u/s. Still praying for you all.
 
Roni and Moonie so good to hear from you! I am glad things are looking up in your personal life and hope things settle down nicely. So glad to hear Moonie is eating. You are a wonderful mamabean and are doing an awesome job. I guess it would probably be good to do the aspiration but I would be torn too. Prayers and vines for you two. Hope you have a good Sunday!
 
Oh it is so good to see a Moonie condo. You are both in better spirits! :-D :-D Moonie is a very special girl, of course her personal physicians are checking up on her! ;-)

Sending perfect car vines and hoping thing continue to feel more normal.

So glad you have aplace to live now...guess it's better than your motel room. But gee Roni, I cannot imagine what you three have been through. It is a nightmare for sure. I am glad you are all together and that Moonie is okay....I know she probably preferred the one room so she could keep track of you twol. LOL.
But my prayers are with the three of you...continued healing vines for our Dear Moonie and hugs for you all...
