im worried about giving the full amount... and i know all the kitties including Lincoln are hungry.... could i go 3u? that splits the difference between the 50-60%

regardless i will be up and testing
 
wishing i had fed him at +9 but didnt wanna ruin the surf and he wasnt begging for food he was just relaxing on his chair
 
right now we are at 45mins but i got a feeling the number wont be much different he is liking the greens after never seeing them lol
 
I'll be up for another 3-4 hours minimum as well and can keep an eye out as well. A good appetite really helps if they decide to go low.

Yes, no hard and fast rules on what to dose. I think backing off tonight a little is a good idea. Let's you get some data and still shoot a low number, just not a full dose.

Thank you.. sorry i couldnt shoot the full 5.5... he just wasnt coming up ... didnt expect him to surf there at this time.... all day thought we would see a bounce much earlier then this
 
One last house keeping note. If you can edit the title line and remove most of today's numbers and keep it updated that'll be helpful to keep an eye on you both.

I wanted you too but Lincoln decided otherwise. The kitties are the boss around here. :rolleyes: Celebrate the break through!! Now Lincoln, be a good boy and surf buddy.
 
Sounds like a plan, I'll keep an eye on the thread. I'll bet Lincoln sure is happy to show off all those greens and make his mom proud and a little nervous.

No worries on shooting a reduced dose, I've done it plenty of times. There is always next time. You need to feel comfortable with the dose too.

He very well could stay nice and flat, frequently shooting low just keeps them nice and flat for the cycle. By the time he starts rising, the pm shot will start working and if all goes right it is a nice flat cycle.
He still has the 5u depot, so even the 3u you shot tonight is more then 3 when you factor in the help from the depot.
 
Ok -- will be grabbing +1 and +2 for sure and keeping dose at 5.5u... and will test as he needs tonight... just wanted a plan for 630am when i am half asleep and not as calm lol... the good thing i know many others here are awake at that time with me... makes me feel not alone in the mornings anymore:bighug:

You can always stall and post for some advice, I've done that before. Keep in mind you shot late tonight, so technically his amps would be when you shot tonight. You could move am and pm shots by 15 min each to get back on schedule or do one 30 minute shift. Early shots can act like a small increase.

The 5u just wasn't getting him where he needed to be, the increase was a good idea. If the bounce was clearing, the increase gave a little extra momentum which pushed him into the green.

I like to try to think ahead for the morning stuff as well when I am still half-asleep. If he is under 100, I'll shoot this, if he is over then I stick with the original plan. Then the cat completely confuses me and all my planning was for nothing. :)

i find no one here annoying in the morning... i find it reassuring that there are others up all around me... even if they arent right next to me... dealing with the same thing... and before this it was only me for a year and a half up doing it... so annoying isnt even close to the word i would use :bighug:

There's always next time, and next time (Lincoln WILL do that to you :cat:) you will have to data to confidently know how he'll respond to shooting low. FYI, the first several time I shot Neko full dose when she gave me a green preshot, she did nothing but head straight up. Made it easier for me to shoot green.

And yes, tomorrow you shoot 5.5 units. You know that dose can get him to green. That's what you want.
 
And there is the bounce... cause i dont think he would rocket up to red cause of the reduced shot.... but we had so many hours in the blue today and saw green what a good day :cat::cat:
