If you are getting Clavamox, make sure you get pills. The liquids usually have syrup in them. As for dose, I've seen people keep the same dose but be vigilant that you might have to drop it. It could take a couple days for the AB to kick in. And if the AB has sugar, you are back where you started. :roll:
Deli lunch meats are tricky - sometimes they have honey or sugar in them. Poultry can be brined (sugar,salt,water) and of course honey ham is is just that. If you know the butcher well enough, they might be able to tell you how it was prepared. Some people just get regular chicken breast and boil it in plain water until cooked, then feed cubes of that. As a bonus, you end up with a nice chicken broth.
BTW: Neko is listed under me at the pharmacy, same last name, but like a dependent. :lol: But the original prescription was written out with the same last name as me. But the pharmacy I deal with is well versed in feline diabetics.
