Happy Cold and Rainy in Pittsburgh Thanksgiving Day to all my Lantus Land Friends and Kitties!!!​

Good morning everyone! Spot is doing well. He wasn't as furry and purry for his test this morning, but he ate all of his breakfast and is now making a deposit in the LB. Right now, not sure exactly what, but I'll know in a few, lol.
Spot seems to be stuck in the blues lately. I'm thinking of fattening up that dose a little if he doesn't do any better ;-) ...ok, I know now that Spot made a nice stinky deposit...glad he likes to cover his stuff!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving with their friends and family today, regardless of what the weather is like! I would like to give thanks to all my wonderful Lantus Land friends. It amazes me how a bunch of people, who have never met each other (for the most part), have such love and caring for each other and the ones they love, namely our kitties. The bond we share is so strong and it's one that some people just can't understand. Spot and I think you all are amazing!!! So enjoy your turkey or your tofurky and your pies and everyone that is near and dear to you! We love you!!

Ok, Mannie, I'll be ready for you!! Today is going to be so much fun!! Moonie comes up wit the bestest ideas, you know! Oh, and before I go, I want to wish ebeyone a Happy Tanksgiving!!! Now bring on dat turkey....yummmmmmmy!!!.......Lubs, Spot

Not to shabby on Spot's # this morning. :Looking good! You are so right about how most people I know wouldn't understand our bond at all. They would think "people on the internet :?: " and the big one, "it's all because of your cat" :mrgreen:

I am so very thankful for everyone here and the bond we have too. I shudder to think what would have happened to my Sara had I not found this site. Ever since I found FD after Sara's DX it has been a part of my daily life. Even if sometimes just to check in and see whats going on.

Spot! on my way dude. I am so stoked about today - it will be so good to hang out, and tour in the roadster, and just spend time with all of the kitties, ya know? hey - I got some turkey with me too... I hope my bean doesn't notice one is missing... See you soon! ~~ Mannie

I hope mr zippy pants was back in action as the day progressed and numbers back down this evening.

Your dinner sounded wonderful today. I was wishing I could moonbeam myself over to give Spot some love and gobble some of your food! :mrgreen:

Very nice numbers today, so no dose crease today (you guys know that I only said that because Spot was looking over my shoulder while I was typing earlier, you know :lol: ).
Spot enjoyed his lazy Thanksgiving day by hanging around on the chair, on his window seat, under the bed in his hammie and making his way out at test and snack time. He was hanging around during dinner...he was really eying up the turkey carcass! One time he jumped up on the counter and accidentally put his back paw in the bowl of Brussels sprouts. I had to get up and wash his tootsies off before he got around to licking it off....carbs and all, you know. lol.

Molly's little friend is spending the night. I didn't like the idea of letting her stay in her house by herself tonight so I went up and got her blanket and now she is resting nicely in the blocked off kitchen. I'm telling you, this dog can SNORE!!! My civvie Ralph is not afraid of anything so he had no problem going up to Penny and giving her kisses. However, Penny did and did a little growl/bark which had Ralph repay her with a patpatpat on her nose, lol Doesn't seem like Penny's presence is bothering Spot to much.

Thanks everyone for dropping in and helping us celebrate this Holiday. It is so wonderful to have so many people give thanks to the same thing...we are all so grateful for FDMB and the wonderful folks who are in Lantus Land!!

Well, heading off to bed now. Sleep well my friends!!

Hi guys!! Oh my, what a day, what a day! After hanging wit my frienz here, i got to go home and hang wit my mum, my grammie bean, and my uncle Al and aunt Barb. I tried to get me some turkey, but they were watching me. Den I figgured, hey how bout some veggies...but no mumz wasn't to happy wit me trying to walk in da bowl and den she washed me toes!!! I was so embarrised!!! And a drooler in da house!!! She little and cute and all...as long as she don't bodder me...and get in my way when I want my snacks, she's ok!! Well, gonna go follow my mumz to bed...gots me another snack in da bedroom!!! Nite all!!!........lubs Spot
