Although a bit subdued behavior-wise, I did get snuggles and play at breakfast.

I figure the high BG is leftover dextrose from the emergency vet and possibly some rebound. Three or so days of stability should get that down to his more usual values.

Happy Thanksgiving BJ! I'm sure you're right about the red PS number, and about getting back on track soon. Spitzer had some nice numbers right before the OD, he'll get back there I'm sure. :-D Have a great day!

Hi BJ

good to see Spitzer home, just in time for turkey day too
you guys hang in there, he will find his way again.

I'm so happy to hear that things are getting back to normal here (except the numbers, but they will come back down).

Try to get lots of spot checks the next few days. Sometimes an overdose can lead to a dramatic change in insulin needs.

I'm going to smack that man - he didn't make sure all the cats were out of the bathroom when he left!

I get home to Spitzer stuck in the bathroom, wondering what he did to deserve exile! ARRRGGGG!!!

And hungry. And he'd pee'd in there too, which had to be cleaned up.

His PMPS = 177, though, so things normalized fast.
