Yesterday

Nice and boring around here this morning. Yay! Appy isn't great. If it doesn't pick up at +2, I'll give him some cypro. His ear is looking good but still a little bump so I applied heat then lanced the wound. Several big drops of blood came out and I got some hisses and growls for my trouble. Hopefully, the Neosporin will provide some pain relief.

OT: I just talked to Anne. She is doing fine. She is moving out of the apt and then will go to a meeting next week in Germany, then start home on Thursday, arriving in Flagstaff in Friday. 6 more darks, kitties!

Thinking of Moonie, Roni and DH in the next apt and Alexa grieving Reuben's passing.

Nice on the ear would. Sounds like it is healing well. Nice that the wound gave only blood - good sign! I can so hear Zener's thank yous...

Mr. Z - sure am glad your war wounds are healing - you iz such a good boy to chase off those boogers! They might use your poo spot! How DARE they!

Morning Grams! WOOHOO! We got that bigger 36"x 24" crate yesterday!!! NOW kitty, food/water AND small litter box will all fit in this one! Leo still uses the smaller one (24"x18") - I feed him in it with the door open so Schniggles can't get to his food. Leo has grown BIG TIME in the 4 months he's been here - he no longer fits in the smaller one very well. This new one will let me bring Miss Lily in too! She's small but still needed more room for litter tray in there too. This way I can set her up in the room and put a cover over it if she acts like she's uncomfortable with others nearby.

Schniggles update - her badly injured back leg has remodeled itself against her body, she no longer HURTS when she walks! That leg doesn't pop out of the socket, she even RUNS now! Another funny thing she's started - when she's hunting her 'place', she finds a smell she wants to investigate but still needs to pee. She sticks her nose down on the ground to the smell then runs her butt round and round in circles - looks like she's trying to screw herself into the ground. This may go on for many turns until she just can't wait any longer - SILLY happy pug!

Anne - glad things are going well and home time is near!!! Travel safe!

Tilley - headbutts and scratches...

I'm glad yesterday's vet visit went well. And Zener looks like he is recovering nicely from the vetty visit and have his ear drained by his mama bean!

Hope you are doing well....how are those wounds?

SIX DARKS!!! YAY!! I bet you can't wait.

Hmmmm, I could have sworn I posted here today! :roll: I guess my brain is still in a fog! I'm glad you are both healing well. If only blood came out when you lanced it , that's a good sign.

Not bad, Z-man but you can do better. You and your bud Mannie need to learn where the down escalator is!

That's so cool that it's only 6 more darks! woo-hoo! Sorry for the flat day, but it's better than a HI day!!!! ;-) Glad his ear is looking better. How's his hand leg/ankle? Feeling any better? How are your war wounds? Still doing ok?

A quiet boring day can be a good thing. I hope there haven't been any other signs of the other cat in your yard. Happy to hear that the ear seems to be healing. Zener - mommabean wants some action tonight.

Hmm, 201 @+1.5 and he just ate 1.55 oz and CPC, which is just about the most he ever eats at one time. This could be an active cycle. Stay tooned!
