Yesterday's Condo
So much for a relaxing day. Been going non-stop since 6:30!! Took care of the kitters morning business, got the turkey breast in the brine, did some other prep, went to yoga, home for more prep, took DS to work, went running in the park, came home, put on the turkey, took a shower, then it was a marathon of cooking culminating in a Thanksgiving Dinner delivery to DS at CVS where she had to work this evening (along with dinner for a manager and co-worker). Kitties decided my herbed roasted turkey wasn't up to their standards, though with some Wellness Turkey as "gravy," they're tolerating it! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Dishes are done and after a couple intense workouts, I fear my ability to walk or even stand tonight is waning.
Kitties had a wonderful day of play and naps. Willie spent much of the afternoon outdoors (once I went and fetched him from his napping spot in the sun!) while Bit Bit chased specks of dust in the air in the sunlight. She's got quite the vertical! Willie's now snoozing on the sofa behind me and Herbie has come to eat my gooey butter cake crumbs. Think it's about to be bedtime for us... esp. since I've got to go to tbp tomorrow.
Hope everyone has had a wonderful day. Near the top of the things I am thankful for this holiday is our Lantus Land family. I feel greatly blessed to be part of this amazing community.
