To all the FDMB Sugar Kittie families:
GOD BLESS YOU AND HOPE YOU HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS AND NOT YOUR CALORIES FRIENDS !!!
All is well in Tuffyland. She can give me a 158 ambg and 3 hours later she is surfing the 50s or 40s. She dances to her own drummer, I just try and follow. She is currently on kitchen duty, anxiously awaiting the completion of the turkey preparations. They will all enjoy some for their dinner tonight, even the left behind crew.
Today is 3 months since Pami crossed the bridge. I thought after all the losses I have had through the years I would be more recovered by now, alas that is not the case. Time will heal that sooner rather than later hopefully. I still remember her special ways and devotion to me. Her greeting when I arrived to feed her. She knew the car sound and allways called to me. How fortunate I was to have her for 32 1/2 years.
Thanks to FDMB I still have Tuffy. When I found the board, she was on 10u bid. She would drop at at an incredible rate and went up and down the dosing scale. And then, "one day, it happened" like they said it did. Without the support and guidance we received in LL, she would probably not be here. Remember, "it is a marathon, not a sprint". Again, thank you that seems like such an insignificant phrase for all the incredible dedicated beans who guide us on this difficult journey.
It's been a difficult year for LL. We lost so many but know they are now whole, healthy and romping in the fields and meadows chasing bugs, birds and butterflies. How blessed we were they shared their lives and love with us and we have their memories console us.
Sending prayers and healing vines to Jill & Mike and all who need them, beans and kitties alike.
