To all the FDMB Sugar Kittie families:

GOD BLESS YOU AND HOPE YOU HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS AND NOT YOUR CALORIES FRIENDS !!!

All is well in Tuffyland. She can give me a 158 ambg and 3 hours later she is surfing the 50s or 40s. She dances to her own drummer, I just try and follow. She is currently on kitchen duty, anxiously awaiting the completion of the turkey preparations. They will all enjoy some for their dinner tonight, even the left behind crew.

Today is 3 months since Pami crossed the bridge. I thought after all the losses I have had through the years I would be more recovered by now, alas that is not the case. Time will heal that sooner rather than later hopefully. I still remember her special ways and devotion to me. Her greeting when I arrived to feed her. She knew the car sound and allways called to me. How fortunate I was to have her for 32 1/2 years.

Thanks to FDMB I still have Tuffy. When I found the board, she was on 10u bid. She would drop at at an incredible rate and went up and down the dosing scale. And then, "one day, it happened" like they said it did. Without the support and guidance we received in LL, she would probably not be here. Remember, "it is a marathon, not a sprint". Again, thank you that seems like such an insignificant phrase for all the incredible dedicated beans who guide us on this difficult journey.

It's been a difficult year for LL. We lost so many but know they are now whole, healthy and romping in the fields and meadows chasing bugs, birds and butterflies. How blessed we were they shared their lives and love with us and we have their memories console us.

Sending prayers and healing vines to Jill & Mike and all who need them, beans and kitties alike.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Barbara, What a beautiful post today--I have to say that having a friend like you is something I am extremely
Happy and grateful for--You have always helped me with Moonie & Copper and many times saved them from
many perils...and myself too..You have infinite knowledge of animal medicine and are kind enough to share that with others here in LL...So my dear, Have a beautiful day surrounded by those gorgeous loving kitties..
Hugs & Love always from us! And Tuffy the original olympic LL diving Champion of all time

To have a dearly loved companion for over 30 years speaks volumes to mutual love and devotion.

Have a wonderful holiday, Barb. I hope all of the family (2 and 4-legged) enjoy all you have prepared. Give Tuffy a belly scritch for me, Gabby, and Giz.

Happy Thanksgiving, Barbara.

I wish you a happy holiday, joyful times for all that will be there with you today. May the memories of Pami be good ones today. Happy Thanksgiving!

Barbara, thank you so much for your Thanksgiving Greeting. We have much to be thankful for, and I am thankful for a friend like you, always there to encourage, or to impart some wisdom learned from experience. I know that you, Tuffy, Khoko, and all your furkids will enjoy this day. As you look back and remember all those Thanksgivings you shared with your beloved Pami, know that she is always as close as your heart, for that is where she lives.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ella & Edward and Rusty (and Stu, GA)

What a lovely post, Barbara.

I'm so sorry about Pami...I was not around when she passed, my heart aches for you. Grief has no time limit. I have lost 4 furbabies in the last 16 months myself, Angel was just a month ago tomorrow....some days are tough. I hope your memories will make you smile in time. :YMHUG:

Tuffy is still doing her own thing, I see! She's a good reminder that the kitties lead the dance.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Barbara-

we're a day late stopping by...but binksy and I are sending you and yours big sloppy kisses!
Tuffy must have made sure the meal was delicious :-D

and may time continue to help ease the grief, my friend...
