11/24 Sue am-57, pm-87; Daddy Bean comes home tonight!!!!!

Of course Sue stopped drooling sometime yesterday before the vet came. I'm not complaining though. She couldn't find anything amiss inside his mouth.

Sadly, though, the vet did not like the look/feel of the mass on Chicken's scruff. She thinks it is Vaccine Associated Sarcoma. I'm trying to not think about it right now because there is nothing I can do but worry. If it is VAS, my old vet will be hearing from me. She is only 12 years old. I have an appt with a board certified surgeon on Wed., Dec. 1, which is the soonest they could get me in.

I really need to win the lottery. I promise I would share! :smile:

Im glad to hear that the vet could not find anything wrong with sues mouth and that the drooling stopped .. I will be sending good thoughts your way about the mass the vet found on Chicken ...

Wow...Look at Sue this morning......That is just amazing and so nice to see. Glad to hear that Sue checked out OK. Its always good to have our kitty concerns evaluated.....

Daddy Bean (DH) comes home tonight from grad school. He hasn't seen the kitties since he left in August! Boy are they gonna be excited to see him. He is the best petter and snuggler! He has had to experience all the Sue drama from afar and that was difficult for him. I get to teach him how to test! He'll only be home until Sunday, but will then come home for a month at Christmas and he'll be all done in May!!!

Sue Bears is still not drooling!

I gave all the kitties their Christmas presents today (new cat beds) because life is too short to wait!

Good Sue report! Glad the drooling has stopped.
Sorry about chicken, tho. My one kitty, Token, had a tumor in his scruff, they said it was caused by vaccines. They were able to cut it out and he was good to go.
So glad to hear that DH will be home for the Holiday. I'm sure you guys will have wonderful time together!

I'm so happy for you all that Daddy Bean is coming home tonight
Both of my cats developed hard swellings about the size of a nichol, about a month after they had vaccines, one year. And with both of them, the lumps eventually went away. I hope Chicken's does too.
