Well, I am feeling like Alice Through the Looking Glass. Curiouser and curiouser. But yesterday was yesterday and we're off anew today. The dumbbean even managed to get the insulin from the syringe into the cat this morning!

Polly was very "down" last night from about +3 on. Just curled on the bed resting her head on my pillow looking pathetic. Gee, cat, guilt, huh. Even when I went to the bathroom, she stayed put. Unusual. She usually thumps her way into the bathroom for a test and treat. But she was not moving last night. Guess this fur shot was a doozy.

I'd rather lose sleep to low numbers testing than high numbers worry. And that's about the only thing last night's confusion taught me. Guess I can still consider it a learning experience.

Ugh on last night. I guess Polly still needs a little bit of insulin. ;-) Neko doesn't feel good in higher numbers either. But every cycle is a do-over. Looks like Polly has decided to do something about it and really work the juice today.

When Neko was on Lantus, I had a rule of thumb that said, higher at +4 than PS, then use that chance to get a good nights sleep. Learning the "freedom to sleep" patterns helps keep me sane.

BTW - I blame you for the chocolate that fell in the shopping basket this afternoon. :lol: Maybe you can celebrate a good shot today the same way.

Oh my gosh Marilyn, guess that really was Lantus you smelled last night!! ohmygod_smile I admire you, when Tiger has one of those, I go to bed at +3. Polly however, looks to be sliding on down, what a great PMPS! Have a great night Marilyn, and be careful what you wish for, she may dive down tonight! :shock:

Way to clear a fur shot bounce miss Polly! I hear ya on the high numbers Marilyn, and I am a worry wart myself. At least with low #s we can get them up fairly quickly..not true for high #s unfortunately. No diving allowed tonight Polly, just a nice slide a bit and surf safely for momma bean :smile:

it's true - the "good" thing about FD is that you get a chance to do-over again. and again. and again. Sorta like the Groundhog Day movie! :lol:

Looks like Polly is getting back to business today and already on the road to recovering from the furshot.
