The Rainbow Bandit made a repeat appearance yesterday, minus the lovely greens that we all covet so much. I guess it has been a while and he wanted to make sure none forgot him. What a guy! :lol: :lol: And what a day... red at the start, blue near the end... Mannie - I lubs ya no matter what color you are, but maybe we could cut out the bouncing, huh? Think about it... cat_pet_icon We have a yellow start today, hoping for good things this morning. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. We are off to my daughters, with Mannie in tow.... I wonder what that will do to his BG... :shock: :roll: :-D

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D I am grateful to the kitty choir, who made sure I got up this morning - so many bellows, one would think that the world was coming to an end... :lol: I had to hunt for Mannie though, as he didn't show for the morning breffis call... sure enough! found him on top of the nanner pile, kneading away. I had to haul him over for testing, with a nanner still hanging from his paw... :lol: :lol: :cool: We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from the Nanner King! Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used: I still can't believe it... still dealing with the civvie Elsa who seems to think that the feeder is for her. uh no.......

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We are headed to my DD's for dinner.... including the nanner king. There is just no getting around it... the timing just will not work unless he comes with us. Going to be fun! I'll have to make sure he gets some turkey....

Hey everyone!! Save me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I gotta go in the car and stuff! and be with other kitties... I dunno about this. My bean says it will be OK, that I gotta go, so I can get my juice and stuff... i dunno about this. I GOTTA RIDE IN A CAR!... this is so weird. Hi Michelle, Happy Thanksgiving! I hope Mannie handles the car and the day's excitement OK. Have a great time at DDs. My first ever in my life cat Winston (GA) LOVED the car. My ex-in-laws were about 2 hours away and we'd take him there with us for the weekend starting when he was still a very young kitten. Over time he grew to love it and would ride on the dashboard just watching the world roll by. His favorite was driving in the rain. He'd exhaust himself watching the raindrops and periodically chasing the wipers.

You hear that Mannie? You are gettin some turkey! Enjoy it! I'm jealous - Jetta

Happy Thanksgiving Michelle & Mannie and civvies. Oh no, poor Mannie, you have to ride in the car. I think we can get you out for a while before that happens. Enjoy your day at DD; that's nice someone else will do the cooking.

Hi Ann - traveling is not Mannie's fav thing - he just assumes it is to the vet... It will be interesting to see how this goes. I'll keep reminding him that there is turkey to be had. last time we took him he started out with a great pmps in the upper blues, at +2 he was at 40. stress seems to drop the BG with him.... might be along night... :lol: :lol: Love the photo - that would be my guy.

Hi Jaclyn - Me too on Mannie - an adventure (!!) for sure! Way cool on your kitty - I wish mine were like that. They just are not sued to it... love the raindrop and wiper story - how fun!

Happy Thanksgiving, Michelle & Mannie, to you and all your family, and to Nicholas (his first Thanksgiving). You could tell Mannie that he is going to visit Nicholas and that he'll get to sleep on Nicholas's blanket with his nanners!

Enjoy the day and I'm sure Mannie will be fine. Turkey, Mannie! TURKEY!!!

punkin says to tell mannie that if you're still in the car after an hour you can relax. it isn't the vet's after all. a little bit of turkey might make the whole thing go better!

our DD is coming home with her Jackson. Although Jackson lived with us for 6 months last year, he never remembers it (neither does anya) and there's always some readjustment when they get here. he does like punkin's nanners though, and licks and chews them with great vigor, intermittently stopping to hiss at anyone nearby before going back to purring and chewing on the nanners. :lol:

Hi Ella - too funny: I did tell Mannie that he was going to visit Nicholas, and that he could bring some nanners. He just looked at me, the nanner pile, and his carrier. I don't think he was buying any of it. :lol: :lol: and yep - I think Mannie will be OK. We've done it once before, it worked out OK - even when he decided to surf the 40's that day. :shock: :lol: :lol:

Hi Julie - Mannie says to tell Punkin thanks, and he promptly packed his watch. :lol: It will be interesting... last time it took him an hour plus some to settle down, after that he did ok.He had his own room ad all, so it worked out well. Jackson sounds like fun - another nanner lover, an instant friendship in Mannie's book.

Hi LInda - oh yes (!!!) on the meal I don't have to cook. HOORAY!!!! and me too on Mannie's pink trip. :-D

Rusty!!! That is an affirmative!!! TURKEY DAY AT TESS'S!!!!! I gots a bunch of turkeys, and made some squirrel and mouse stuffing, and gots lots of taters and really cool FD friendly veggies. And cranberry sauce - I LUBS that ! And some pumpkin pies, with lots of whip cream! WOOT This will be so cool - see you there!! ~~ Mannie

Happy Thanksgiving Michelle! How nice the kitty choir got you up! What a great way to start your holiday. I hope you had a great time at DD. Hopefully she even did all the cooking. Thank you for always being there and making me laugh with your commentary every day and the beautiful pictures of DGS.

Hope that dinner at DD went smashingly and that Mannie traveled well!! And he survived camping out at my DD's... he did well, and took it all in stride. of course the turkey helped...

Thanks all who visited Mannie tonight... forgive me for not addressing each individually, but wow - it is late... and this bean is TIRED! Marje, Christie, Melissa, Lisa: many thanks! We did well, Mannie traveled well too - a little wired while we were therm, but all in all - a success!!
Christie - i know... but it was fun. He enjoys that place, loves that wall of toys!
Melissa - yep, DD did it all. I didn't have to do a thing!! YAY!!
