Good morning LantusLand - HAPPY THANKSGIVING. Yesterday's UGLY PJ's

Today, I give thanks for every one of you! Without all of you dancing with YOUR sugarbabies, this place wouldn't exist. If I hadn't found this place, I probably wouldn't still have MY sugarbaby. I send up HUGE extra thanks for Lisa and Do Lou for sending us meters and strips back in August. I also send up HUGE extra thanks for DCIN providing Lantus for KT so we could get him off Humulin N. I ALSO send up HUGE extra thanks for Thelma/Ray/Calistica for sending us 2 huge boxes of syringes AND more test strips. I'm not finished yet!!! A HUGE extra thanks for Marjorie/Mike for also sending us syringes AND for putting us together with available supplies.

And again - I give thanks for each of your visits to our condo every day. It's just such a comfort to know I'm not going this road alone....have had to do that so often in the past that this place still leaves me in awe....

Now to our day:

KT's still wearin' his UGLY PJs this morning. He got into kibble 2 days ago, I guess this is still trying to work out of his system?? If not, WHAT is suddenly causing these ugly ugly numbers. That's rhetorical - I know YOU don't know either... :roll:

I've got a beautiful turkey cooking in the oven - only going to be the two of us and one neighbor that has no other place to go but we'll enjoy every bit of it just as if we had a houseful.

Happy Thanksgiving to you guys and sure hope KT comes down from the pink floor we have had way too many kitties on the pink floor this week I am thinking they must be having a secret party up there that we do not know about :cool: (((((hugs))))) from Do Lou and I

+3 is a LITTLE better but nowhere near hopes at 288.

KT's on turkey watch - when it starts to smell, he camps out in front of the oven and hollers if anyone comes close. He's getting really impatient about now....

OK KT - time to come down from the pink floor! There is nothing fun up there... though I to am beginning to wonder... Love the fact that KT camps out in front of the oven. How fun is that. Mannie will beg from plate to late, searching the floor, looking for droppings... he will be disappointed that there is no turkey in our oven, and that he has to travel to my DD's to get any... WOOT!: an adventure!

Another UGLY number at +8 - 345. These high of numbers can't still be from 1/8th c kibble 3 days ago can it? It's never taken this long to get rid of it before. These numbers are just horrible.

KT finally got his turkey....and anyone else's that left any.

This could still be a bounce...he did hit 88 almost exactly 3 days ago, and the bounce started at PMPS. I would be sure to get a +2 tonight.

The turkey may boost his numbers.....I suspect that most turkeys are injected with sugar solutions. I discovered that when I used to give Mr T deli turkey for a treat, it always made his numbers go up. I found it in tiny letters at the bottom of the nutritional values. I expect to see higher numbers all over LL tonight! :lol: The good news is that it will be short-lived...and our kitties deserve a treat too, right? I know I won't be testing Tinkles tonight....I don't wanna know! ;-)

Happy Thanksgiving and glad KT got his turkey, too! I think a lot of our kitties may have a spike from some turkey treats. :smile: That was nice of you to invite your neighbor. Sounds like a nice time.

Hi guys,
I have heard that it can take up to 72 hours to clear a bounce, so don't start to worry yet!!! Instead, focus on having a great Thanksgiving with your DH, your kitties, and your friend.

We're ALL stuffed including the fuzzy butts and altho' it was cold and damp, it was an enjoyable day....inside. I hope everyone's day was wonderful and everyone's kitty's are happy and full of purrrrs. We'll see what pm+2-ish brings.
 
Lyresa! I hope you and DH had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and no thanks needed for the syringes. We just gotta share and take care of each other like you are taking care of your neighbor and sharing your wonderful dinner.

We are thankful for you and your wonderful, positive, optimistic spirit and how great you are leading KT through his dance!!!

KT: you are one lucky dude....now no more bouncy!!
