Ranging high again at shot time this morning. It is coming down rapidly though at +1, and at +2 it’s yellow. We shall see what happens; the last couple of days that he came down to blues and greens, the AMPS was high like this. Like a final peak before bounce-breaking? We shall see. I’ve got a busy day ahead of me, so I would actually appreciate it if he could keep dramatics to a minimum.

Or not that late… just checked in at +5 and he’s already down to 149, and the Libre says he’s currently dropping more. Cat I got food to make!! No hypos today! I forbid it!

+6 123…

Cat….

At least the graph looks like he’s stabilizing there, which is an EXCELLENT place to stabilize as long as he doesn’t start another steep downhill run…

Well he reached a nice 84 briefly, but didn’t stay there long. Still, he did it without drama or trouble. Good boy.

For a day I wasn’t supposed to be able to watch him closely, I sure managed to sneak away almost every hour for a check…

Down to 116 again at PM +3.5. Two whole cycles in a row! His graph actually looks like a real pair of glucose curves!

By anyone’s standards! 45 now at +5.5, and I think he’s stopped dropping but I’m not sure. Trying to feed him all I can… No hypo signs yet but I can’t forget the last time he went so low…

I’m honestly surprised by this new pattern emerging of rapid reductions. Could that mostly-blue day a few days ago really have made that much of a difference? Or is his body healing? Or should I worry? I just don’t know. He’s still eating well and not throwing ketones…

After some HC food, some Party Mix, and finally a couple shots of straight glucose liquid about ten minutes apart… Jack is finally climbing out of the 40s. Thank God. That was a nervous almost hour…

I did finally… was having trouble getting blood. Didn’t quite manage until he was already starting to rise a bit. Not as bad as the Libre made me fear (I really have to figure out if there is a predictable differential). But 76 when Libre said 55, so nonetheless, still actual greens.

Maybe he finally did hit that dose! I would guess, that day of almost all blues and greens on 11/20. He’s been dropping a dose every two days since; this will be the third reduction. If so that would be some cause for celebration.

Okay he’s definitely coming up from it now, fast enough to be a bounce (the fast sugar I gave would have worn off by now). 92 at about +6.5. He didn’t spend as much time in blues and greens as I’d like, but went lower than I would prefer, especially for this weekend. I have to work tomorrow and other family members have other obligations (not shopping)… Just more blues would be nice for now, buddy. Maybe some high greens…

Alright… there was a little wobbling up and down around the 100 area for a bit, but solidly 149 now at +7.5. Time for bed for this human (the cat is already sleeping all snuggly). I have an early wake up time in the am, but I can get about 4 hours at least… good night!
