We've had a much quieter day today....of course I didn't have to go anywhere either!! Hey China....this would have been nice yesterday!!

She's been very snuggly today too...and I even got an extended purr!! China's not a big "purr-er" so anytime I get a purr, it's just so special...guess she's trying to make up for worrying me yesterday!

DM is going to drive me to drink!! I bought a boneless turkey breast yesterday for Thanksgiving since it was just going to be me, her and my brother and today she says "Oh, did I tell you that Millie and Marge are coming for Thanksgiving?"...No mom....you didn't!! So now we're 5 instead of 3 and I guess I'll be buying a bigger turkey tomorrow! Good thing that Jennie-O makes turkeys that can go from the freezer to the oven without thawing! Hopefully by tomorrow I'll have a definite "final count" before I go to the store! DM doesn't have a dishwasher and only has a single sink, so we were just going to buy pre-prepared sides and cook the turkey ourselves....guess I'll be buying more mashed potatoes, stuffing and green bean casserole

Or maybe I'll just buy some small plates so the food we have looks like more than it is....lol

Gotta love those DMs. Tried to pin my mother down as to when she was getting here on Thursday (traveling approx. 200 miles). She said 2 PM so I said dinner at 3:30. At the end of the call she says, be there by 3 at the latest. What can you do

Good luck with Thanksgiving! I wasn't even going to have one since I work Thurs and while my in-laws are having theirs on Sun, I work Sunday. Or rather, I did. I took a personal day. And with my mom here we will do a tiny one for the three of us.

Well, I was kind of hoping she'd still be at least in the 70's, but she's close, so I'm going to get some sleep.....she's REALLY good at waking me up if she needs food...or just wants it!!
