Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. And this morning he has a very good AMPS. But we are going to NYC tomorrow, so I don't think we'll see much green this week (and just hope we can stay out of pink). Rusty ate all his nighttime food, had a good test, good shot, 1st sitting of breakfast, lung treat, schmooze, and now a nap in his little bed by the radiator. It is 23 degrees and snowing hard.

Lots to do today to get ready for our trip to NYC. We will see a performance at the Met of Richard Strauss's "Die Frau ohne Schatten" (The woman without a shadow), one of our favorite operas. We also plan to go to the re-creation at the New York Historical Society of the 1913 Armory Show. Thanksgiving Day we will go to my niece's in CT for a family dinner (my sister--the one we paddle with--will be there, also 2 college-age grand nephews and a grand niece who just started graduate school).

Continuing to keep Marje and Mike in our thoughts today. And continuing to send "heal well" vines to Jupiter.

Yo Kitties! I'm going to NYC tomorrow for Thanksgiving week and invite you all to join me for our usual city pursuits. We'll have so much fun. And it's a very festive time to be in the city. Stay tuned every day (starting on Monday) for the day's schedule.

I like that amps! I will hope for green today. And well... one can always hope that maybe this time Rusty can at least be a blue kitty while in the big city. :-D Paws crossed!

AWESOME on your snow! thought I hope that doesn't affect your travel plans too much. I suppose that you guys are used to it.

Your day sounds great. Enjoy the opera! Your Thanksgiving plans sound great too. It is always nice when family can get together. :cool:

Nice start for Rusty this morning. Hopefully he'll give you some green today. Maybe his trip numbers will be lower this time. I hope you have a good trip and a good visit with your family for Thanksgiving.

Great AMPS for Rusty! Hopefully they surf into some greens for you :mrgreen: I'm not going to lie, I'm more than a little bit jealous that you're heading into the city. I have always wanted to go to NYC, it looks amazing!

Sounds like a great way to spend the holiday. Nice start to the day, I hope Rusty can hold these numbers during the trip. At least a little green before you leave, huh, Rusty?

Hi again,
Rusty was close to the lagoon, but made a U turn and then zoomed up at PMPS. I think it's because he knows he will be going to the city tomorrow. (Rusty is a reluctant traveler.) So we'll see what happens. He is sticking close to his beans this evening. He ate a good dinner and seems content to let whatever happens happen.

Hi, Ella, it sounds like you're going to see (and hear) some amazing things during your time in NYC. I spent a semester in college studying the Armory show, its art and its impact ~ enjoy!

I hope Rusty has good numbers during your stay ~ Ripley's looking forward to seeing the city with her kitty cousins next week!

The trip to the big city does sounds good. Do you ever see the Macy's parade or is that too crowded now?

Radiator planning sounds primo - we gots lots of upcoming OTJ parties too. ~Neko

What a whacky PMPS (maybe a bad strip?), but the bedtime number is fine. Also we are coming up to 50 days on this cartridge of Lev., so it may be getting a little "tired".

Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade is neat. We sometimes go over to the West Side of Central Park the night before to watch them inflate the balloons. When I was in high school, in the mid-1950s, my high-school band marched every year in the parade (which we called the "Macy Day" parade). Some of those years it was so cold that the brass players lips froze to their mouthpieces! I played clarinet and we couldn't wear gloves because they obstructed the fingerings. I remember going to the parade on the school bus and everyone in the band trying to put that white shoe stuff on our (filthy) "white bucks" shoes while the bus was bumping over the streets. What a mess!

Wishing you all a good day tomorrow. I won't be doing Rusty's condo until we get to the city. The roads here are snowy. High wind warnings are posted for tomorrow downstate (with "flash fire" warnings). Sounds like a great day to travel.

I just counted. I'm on 59 days of use of my Lev cartridge, with 17 days in the middle when I used the defective second cartridge.

Safe travels tomorrow.
