You know, Elise, when I was a kid in the midwest, we'd often sneak out into the country at night in early summer, farmland. We'd stop the car, get out near a cornfield and be very quiet. Word was, we'd be able to hear the corn growing. Honest, we sometimes thought we could.

I'm wondering, if you put your ear to Max's abdomen if you'd be able to hear his pancreas healing. Soft little "ahhhh" sounds or something.

He is sure working at it. Sending vines for some quiet time for your boy so you can have some down time for you!

If you're having to give karo to sustain this surf, I'd consider a dose reduction. He held the last little reduction. Fingers crossed for you guys!

He's back up to 175 now so I suspect he is bouncing. I'll see how he does tonight and tomorrow and then decide about another tiny reduction. I keep hoping he will get one by staying under 120 but that doesn't appear to happen. Thanks for the visits everyone.

I do have a question though. Should I skip the karo and see if he will stay above 40 with just hc? I gave him karo when he hit 52 at +3 after the hc at +2 had him go from 58 to 52 and because it was so early in the cycle.

What I meant was is it time to see if he drops under 40 if I don't give karo. It would mean I would have to take a reduction. With karo I can keep him over 40.
