PERFECTO!, only the best for my customers!

Yesterday was.... yellow day in MannieLand, mostly. We had a blue amps, a pink spike, but over all a day of rest for Mannie. Seems he needed to recover from his visit to the blue floor the day before. :shock: :roll: And THEN: bam! a travel day for Mannie, and down he went. WHAT A RIDE!! And we were SO CLOSE to the greens!! ONE POINT! Can I count it anywyas? Mannie did well, for being in a strange place, and a little stressed. I never know what I will get when that happens: numbers either rise, or they fall. Yesterday they fell, rather dramatically. I was glad I packed every kind of food for any possibility. sheshh! :lol: :lol: He was a little anxious when we were there, but over all did ok. We hope for good numbers today, if not... the dosecrease is back on the table, despite the wonderfulness of last night. . Mannie - we simply need better numbers. Think blue, think green, OK? All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Yesterday was a travel day for Mannie. His shot time was right at the start of T-Day dinner at my DD, DSIL, and DGS's house, so not much choice, Mannie got to travel. He did well, and was as good as he could be. We had a few howls and a few dagger looks but overall he handled that 45 minute drive well. He had his own room there, and I brought his bed with him, so almost as good as home... DGS was so glad to see him: "Man-NIE, Man-NIE, Man-NIE, Man-NIE!!" :lol: :lol: Since he behaved so well he too got some of that turkey for dinner. NOM NOM NOM! and a lick of the whip cream off of the pumpkin pie. He was not to be denied. :lol: :lol: We actually got a break in the weather yesterday. No rains, but it was just cold. Mannie didn't venture out much, maybe one quick tour of the deck, then back inside for nanner napping. I suspect he got wind of his pending travel and more DGS time so he went into sleep and be ready mode. :lol: :lol: All in all a very mellow day for the Nanner King. This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. Today will be turkey recovery day, and prep for the next holiday day for me. I normally do not decorate for Christmas until a couple of weeks before, but this year I have DGS for a couple of weeks, full time, just prior to, and during, my normal decor time, and just have no clue when I will get it all up. So today we will drag out the boxes, and much to my horror, decorate the house for Christmas. No doubt Nicholas will love it. The tree however will have to wait until a week or two before. WOO HOO! The red and green holiday approaches! :shock: :shock: :shock: :razz: Happy Back Friday shopping for all of you that will venture out today. :-D

Hey everybody!! I LUBS TURKEY DAY!!! Even though I had to travel... that was awful!!! I so hat the car.... but the tiny hooman had good turkey for me, so it was OK. H even gave me whip cream!! YUMMMM! I think that we all need a chillaxin' day today. Maybe Rusty's radiators, of the treehouse, or maybe sunny beach somewhere. We could grill maybe too! What'd'ya thinks? let me know - I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle, wow what a Mannie day yesterday. I see where he did drop there to an almost green. Mannie, so glad you survived the car ride and look what you got in return, turkey and some cream from the pie, way to go. I don't blame you for getting ahead of the game with Christmas decorating. That way you won't be thinking in the back of your mind what all needs to be done for the holiday and can enjoy DGS. I hope mannie comes down on a nice slide. Enjoy the day, any hiking today o shore walk!

Mannie, hanging out at the treehouse and Rusty's porch sounds great. We will have nice, warm temps this afternoon and plentiful sun for the beach, too, if you guys want to fit it in, too. We have a beautiful beach at Del Mar with lots of little neat restaurants nearby. We can get samples. See ya at the curb.

Hey Michelle, Too bad you have to put up the Xmas decorations so early. But I can see that it would be impossible with Nicholas "helping". You certainly won't be alone: the stores have had theirs up since Halloween!

Enjoy your day. I hope that the rain will hold off and you can go for a walk to break up the decorating binge.

Hey, how about a party here in florida today? giner is missing her J.D. a lot and Dyana too so she was in the mood for a big partya. We are waiting for her arrival and trying to let everyone else know. Thought maybe a party here then a party in NYC later on ...maybe Sunday...no time limts since Dyana won't be back until thursday and we would like to keep Ginger busy. what do you say Mannie?

Mannie, you sure know how to keep things interesting! You should stick to those blues, though. They make your mama bean very happy! (and Michelle, I'd say that 100 from yesterday was a misread...it was really 99!!!) :mrgreen: Enjoy decorating! I gave up decorating a long time ago...Shasta just wants to eat the decorations or destroy them! and it's just me...so I just wait until I go home to my parent's house to enjoy the decorations! But I know Nicholas will LOVE it!!! Blessings!

Surely it really said 99... :lol: :cool: oh yeah on the decorating... if it wasn't for the kids, I'd probably be there too. or at least alot later than today. A week prior maybe. Enjoy your decorating, I am dreading pulling out all the boxes to decorate. Once it is done I love it and am so happy but just pulling everything out stinks. Hi Barb - That it was! He did travel well, no hollering at all, some minor complaining on the drive home. I don't think we drove fast enough for him. :lol: :lol: Yep, he did enjoy his turkey feast. I don't think I've ever seen seen a kitty lap up whip cream as fast as he did. :o :lol: And this is true... if I'd checked 5 minutes later, or earlier or??? I would have had my green. Then again - knowing Mannie - he would have been just bluer! ;-) ;-) :-D YOU have vinyl records???? Now that is way cool. Somehow that makes things kinda special. and nostalgic. I really like that. :-D Decorating went ok - it's more work just to drag it all out of the boxes that it was to put up.

Einnam! What are you doing, not THAT color! Well, michelle, you expected the bounce. This has got to be that infamous late cycle spike, right? Or maybe it was that whipped cream! I'm glad he did well yesterday, today he is letting you know what he thought of it all!

You mean you've got it all up already? :o I probably should start, at least the house is clean already. That's usually the worst hurdle for me. I hate putting the tree up early, but usually end up so late w/ it that I keep it up way too long after Christmas. :roll: Somehow I don't get into the Spirit of the season in 70º sunny weather.

Mannie, you guys still there? I soooo wanted to get to the barn! and the radiators! Everyone was just so sleepy here today! -- Tess

Hi Ann - I so agree! wrong way for sure. OMG - he went red. I hate red more than I hate pink.... :? And yes, THAT color.... I did expect the bounce, just had really hoped he wouldn't go that high. His buddies had better get the ropes.... :lol: well.... the home decor stuff is up: garland, lighted village thing I have, some trim, and a few lighted santas on a string type thing for DGS. etc etc etc. That is my limit - I really don't like having this stuff up so early, but just really didn't known when else that would happen without it being way too late, for DGS an all. The tree will have to wait,. draw the line there,. HAHA. Still have a few tings - lighted stuff, to do in the room that DGS plays in, tomorrow on that - I am pooped!!!! so hear you on getting into the spirit when it is 70 out. :?

Mannie - I'z pulling real hard but you are a looong way up there! Maybe we need a more of us down here.

And there goes that delayed bounce - same thing Neko does at times. I'm sure it was the whip cream that did it! Neko is so jealous of that. Fabulous night for him though. If you didn't have to HC him, I'm sure there would have been green. Just wrong time, wrong place. Nice on getting some of the decorations up, but it has to be December before our boxes come out.

There is no doubt he would have been green. I just didn't want him to go too low, if only becasue he was on a major high alert, being in a strange house and all, very hyped up. So out came the HC. i so agree on the wrong time, wrong place. -- Kudos to you on the not before December for any decorations. That has always been my way too, just can't see how that will happen this year, what with my DGS duties. aiyee... it feels so weird to have some of the stuff out this early.

Michelle, I'm impressed that you got all your decorations up. As for the tree, that is certainly better left 'till later if you want the needles to stay on for Christmas itself! We are traditionalists: the tree goes up on Xmas Eve and comes down on 12th night (Jan. 6th). But since we now go to my nephew's for Xmas, we put the tree up on the 22nd, the night before we leave. My nephew's tree probably won't even be brought into the house until after Xmas- Eve dinner!!

Hi Ella - I SO AGREE! RED????? well, he is coming down, so good I think. Well, yes almost all the decor is up. There isn't a whole lot, but I did add a few things for Nicholas. He really loves the colored lights. I like your tradition. My parents did the same ting. Nothing went up until Christmas Eve, it was that way for years. I'm not too sure ow how we got out of that habit... Keep your tradition going. It seems so weird to have things up already. I never do any of this this early...

Evening.
I was in Shasta's condo and you said something about trying to get Mannie back on the lap.
I find that a cold house, ( and no cat heater pad) always makes Shadow come find me . :-D
