Thanks to all that visited me yesterday. I am sorry I didn't have the chance to answer you all. it was such along and late day. I did read them all. you guys are great!

I hope everyone had a great Furday. Mine was so busy and so crazy, but we all had a great time. Swimming went well last night for the little guy - fun, but wow was he ever tired after that. sheshhhh - me too for that matter. Sure as fun though. He really seems to enjoy those evening swims, the intensity level for them is off the chart. can one say SUPER ENERGIZER FISH? The drives to the pool at this time of day, this time of year are really nice. The sun is just starting to set, ans with our sunny days these sunsets of late have been gorgeous. There are a few Pictures from yesterday drive in that album. The morning was a fairly typical one for us. We have the usual play, those mammoth breffis's of Nicholas's, and time spent planning the day, with the boys. Nicholas is still adamant that William may not, cannot, and shouldn't ave waffles for Breffis.  Morning Normalcy included a new element yesterday. I had bought some tangerines, and Nicholas just had to ave one. well, three actually. Seems he thought they were right up there with all those berries. GO KID! We were off to the Pacific Science Center in the morning, by Nicholas's request. It was a good choice as although we are having very sunny days, they are also extremely cold. So...indoors for the morning, until it warmed up some. Science Center was fun, he really had a good time, and didn't want to leave, kept finding things to do. Both boys loved the butterfly house. LOL: they loved everything! William is such a sponge, just soaking in everything. Afternoon was spent at Juanita Beach Park. That park is really a ton of fun. It has a play area, lots of ducks and a great beach area. We brought down the sun there, which made for such a wonderful way to wrap up the day. Juanita is always a blast. Into the swings yesterday. Nicholas likes to go as high as he can. I'm thinking - shessh, just hold one. William was awake for it all yesterday, like a sponge that one. Pool time came after that, once I had dropped William off with his dad. Pool was good, we did just under an hour. by then he was exhausted, and more than hungry. Per the norm such a great swim session was followed by what Nicholas calls "Dinner in the Dark", aka my car, by dome light. Sometimes I like that part he best. Nicholas has such fun with Friday Night Tradition of burgers and fries. What an awesome day! Fridays are long, intense, and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Thanks guys for a great day. :-D

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!   It is oddly quiet here this morning.... too quiet.... the calm before the storm? More like the calm after the storm.... It seems this is the norm every Caturday... hmmmm... somehow I remember writing this last Caturday too. What is up with the quiet Caturdays???? ;-) :? She ran alot, she always does, but nothing was Lola-ized. AWESOME! I was home so late, never did see my house all day, and it was a relief to come home and find it as it was when I left it. Way to go Lola. They weren't too upset that I was so late... dinner was delayed, and they cut me some slack. Amazing that the blood oath wasn't waiting for me on the front steps. Just that look of "FEED ME!" So I did. Both Lola and Bug were into one of those roll and romp and locked paws marathons last night. I left them for bed, hard at play... So nice to fall asleep to the sounds of the thundering herd.... I so wonder what they have up their sleeve today, to make up for all that be-good-ness yesterday. GO KITTIES! YUPP! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!

Have a great day everyone. it is a for sure catch up day here: shopping, errands, laundry and some cleaning. And recovery time. I thoroughly enjoyed having both boys these past three days, but need some regroup time.  So that shall be today. That and an afternoon walk, to the shore I hope!

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

The Science Center looks really neat. That's great both boys were so interested.

Maybe the new normal is quiet kitties on Saturday mornings. Are they sleeping in? ;-)

Hey Michelle,
I'm tired out just reading about your day yesterday! Sounds like you had a terrific time. Love the pics, too. Nicholas is so enthusiastic. He is wonderful to watch. And William, watching and storing it all away for later.

I hope you got through with your errands today in time to enjoy a hike/walk. Is it still cold there?

Have a lovely evening. We are busy getting ready for our trip to NYC tomorrow. So glad that Elsa, Bug and Lola will be coming.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great afternoon. Not much new here... I shopped, did a few chores, the laundry, then a walk to the woods, and the creek. It really was a nice afternoon there, we even had sun! I only found 4 fish on the run in the creek today, really beat up ones. Well at least they made it that far. :-D I wished I'd stayed for the sunset tonight. It was gorgeous: lots of reds and oranges, a little pink, lavenders, and very impressive.

Hi Carla - :-D THX!, The Science Center really is a great place. It is nice that Nicholas can interact more with all that they have there. I think so too on the new normalcy on caturdays. They all slept in, even crazy Lola.

Hi Ella :-D I agree with you! Yesterday was crazy, and very tiring. Funny, I never feel the fatigue when we are out and about, the the ext day - wow, major sleep mode. THX on the pics. and Nicholas. I think so too on William: watching and storing. THX on today - I did get out this afternoon. That sure was nice! We are not as cold, but still chilly: 32 at night, 45 during the day. THX on tonight, and will do. I hope all goes well with your trip.

Great pictures of the boys and the sunset. I figured out why Nicholas is always so full of energy...he catnaps in between adventures! Smart cookie that one! Love how adamant he is about William not having waffles for breffis  And how great is that science centre! Such lucky kids to have so many amazing places to go! I just love stuff like that and aquariums and really any kind of interactive learning center. As kids we grew up in a pretty tiny town and didn't get to go to the city, so missed out on all of that. But I sure made up for it as an adult
Thank you sooo much for being my holiday, everyday! Just love this condo!
Elsa thank you so much today! I really needed that energy coffee, and although I didn't need the peppermint white chocolate mocha...I couldn't help myself! My two favorite sweets are peppermint and white chocolate :-D

Hmmmm...I'm still suspicious about how quiet it has been lately ;-)  !!! I gotta say, it's no wonder Nicholas swims so much - that kid can pack away food/fuel like an adult  !!! I love all the little traditions you have with the boys...they will always treasure the memories you are creating. Have a great night, Michelle!!!

I am exhausted just reading about everything you did and seeing all the photos too. Nom nom nom on the delicious concoction today - I knew white chocolate and peppermint are tasty together, but the addition of caramel - who knew?

Normalcy in Muskateerville - ah, all is right in the world. cat_pet_icon

Hi Kim - this is true! He, and William, get to nap while poor ole tired grammie gets to drive.  oh yes on that waffle thing - it makes me laugh. he is so insistent! moo only for William.   I wonder hat will happen when solids enter the picture this coming month. oh haha! The plot thickens. Hey - THX too on your comments: I try to take them to alot of the places that I like nice that offer opportunities for them: just to explore and be boys. I so agree too on the places that offer the interactive - sure is fun! and.... i am glad you made up for not having those places as a kid. us adults can have the fun too. and a big thanks too n my condo... much appreciated.
Auntie Kim - you are mega cool! My bean LOVES the peppermint and white chocolate. I hafta do that every fay or she comes unglued. seriously, major unglued.... you beans! i know... on the energy coffee! it is Mannie's recipe, he was the master at that energy stuff said it was mega important so that the bean could do all those middle of the night pokies.  ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitteh
barista

Hi Amy - I so agree! what is that cat up too.... we all know it is coming. like that time I came home and ALL the plants were knocked over. hmmmm... bet she is saving it for that Christmas tree.... LOL, and yes on Nicholas: that kid can Eat. He burns it all off! THX so much too on your comments: I so hope on the traditions, an the places visited. I love traditions: they keep things that are special live, allow us to remember.

Hi Anne - I know.... I can do all these things, just go with the boys and never feel tired. the next day/weekend however..... mega crash.  OH HAHAHA in the caramel. it really is good! Another one n Mannie's oldies but goodies... :-D  ya know, it always feels good to be able to day normalcy in Musketerville. I like that. kinda akin to when I was able to say Normalcy in MannieLand. Good times all around.

Your stories are always jam packed with fun and adventure with those kids! I love it!!!! And the kitties must be plotting something! There's no way everything was left as it should be without there being an ultimate evil lurking somewhere nearby...Attack of the Killer Kitties! :o  Killer of all things insect, that is!! Happy Caturday, Michelle!

Hi Deborah ~O) Hey, many thanks. We sure do try to keep them busy with things that are fun, that they enjoy. I so know on those kitties..... too quiet here just equals pending trouble. ;-) They are in the middle of another kitty marathon as I type...
