I fed that 54, I shot that 61! Here's hoping he does his usual trick - zoomie from that low....or we'll REALLY dance today! I DID drop the dose just in case. We're dealing with icky white poo again - we just can't seem to keep him feeling well for long lately. He IS putting on a bit of weight but just enough to cover bones. He's already smelling cooking turkey - is already HOLLERING at the stove - "GIBS ME SUM! OH PWEASE PWEASE - GIBS ME SUM". It's the cooking giblets that are making such a wonderful smell right now....

Even sweet Doc is with the game this morning handing me a 154 at AMPS! NICE Baby NICE! He DID get a full dose so hopefully we'll see him slide down to green but I'll just be satisfied with 100's. He evidently got cold last night, curled up beside me. He sure is HEAVY when he's sleeping and a BLANKET HOG! Between DH and him, they kept me grabbing for blankets all night.

BRRRRRRR!!!! Winter's here! Is it SPRING yet? PLEASE hurry...I'm gonna freeze! It's 35 degrees and rainy....sleet forecasted for later today, snow still coming tomorrow or Monday. I know, I'm a woos....

Sounds like you're going to have to start piling the cats on top of you :lol: Sorry KT has the icky poo. I don't know the back story on that but it doesn't sound fun :sad: Will poo vines help that cause I do have a couple here I haven't needed today...

:thumbup Great Shooting! But I hope he starts feeling better soon.

I'd keep him on the enzymes daily as well as the probiotics. You got me looking into them when KT first had the digestive problems. Tess and Emma had been getting probiotics every day already (the vet recommended the probiotics because of Tess's recurring UT infections. Keeping more healthy bacteria in the gut means fewer can get the chance to migrate to the urinary tract.) Emma had soft very smelly poo ever since she came to us, the enzymes have helped enormously. I've started giving it to Tess too as it helps to digest food better and she needs to get the most out of what she eats. She has definitely gained some of the lost weight back. There is nothing in them that would hurt if you fed them for a long time and that may be what KT needs.

I looked into the Mercola, but also found NWC Naturals which looks just as good and quite a bit less in price. I use less than an eighth scoop twice a day for each cat.

Forgot to add, we buy the "gizzard and heart" package at the butcher. Cut them up into bite size pieces and freeze. Then just take about a few pieces and nuke for 15 seconds. Emma now runs ahead of us into the garage when it is time for her to come in! She listens for the sound of the microwave at 4:00pm and give us no problem catching her. Gizzards a the best kitteh treat!

Give in and give KT a few bites, it's great for him as long as you aren't cooking them w/ onions.

KT loves the livers/gizzards but Dakota thinks I'm trying to poison him! I cooked the neck and peeled the meat - shared it with them, they both loved it...then I offered a bit of gizzard, KT wanted more...Doc RAN! Silly kitties....

I got a turkey that had no preservatives i.e. - no sugar solution - so I could give some to kitties! We're going to eat with neighbors Thursday so decided to cook OUR turkey today. It's got another hour...KT's going to be fit to be tied by then. He's sitting on their island just hollering at the stove!

My kitties all love turkey, too, and my male Aby, Harvey, spends the entire day hollering in kitchen, as long as the smell of turkey is in the air. None of them will eat the gizzard, liver or heart, though. I end up throwing them out after cooking them down for broth.

Sorry about the icky poo. Hope you get that sorted out. Sounds like the kitties are being cooperative with their numbers, which is always a blessing.

Ohhhhhh...da turkey is finishing it's browning, about 15 more minutes guys! Stuffin is done, deviled eggs, corn, giblet gravy, mashed potatos....YUMMY!
