Happy Caturday, friends! Sending out great OTJ Trial wishes for all those still on a trial (Monet, Clyde, Mr. Cat, and Shadow). Big smiles for Jupiter's test results!! And healing vines to all who need them. Welcome to all new members...we're so glad you found our Lantus Land Family.
The Principessa and resident crazy baby is feeling her Canadian roots. It has turned cold and rainy here and she is in her element. Regardless of the rain yesterday, she was insistent on being on the catio with the fine spray blowing in. I had moved the condo to the center of the room and she just got in the little house on it and enjoyed the weather. Her fur was chilly when I made her come in. It's colder and raining harder today so she has been in the house most of the morning but had to prove she still has her Canadian homeland and Scottish Fold heritage and is fine with the colder weather. She's been extremely playful.....the whackamouse has taken a good beating today. We're hoping she is clearing the bounce from yesterday and interested in seeing if she can get into some lovely, flat, green numbers. I did threaten dose increase yesterday (whispered in her ear) and so she either came down just to fool me or she has green in her future.
Of the two of them, it seems Tobey might be a little sadder about Gus physically being gone. I think Gracie still senses he is here but she also knew weeks ago that he was getting ready to cross. Tobey has spent a lot of time in my lap and they both cuddled in nice and tight against me in bed last night.
We got a call this morning that an old AF friend of ours who also flies for Southwest has an overnight in Tucson tonight so we are having him over for dinner. It will be a good distraction and will give us something to do today to get a nice meal ready for him. Have a lovely day!!
