Happy Friday and we hope everyone who celebrates it had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday. Our prayers and condolences to Alexa today....we are all so saddened to hear that Reuben crossed the Bridge :cry: :cry: Fly free sweet boy. Also we continue to send prayers to Roni, Brad, and Moonie as well as Anne/Kibby and any others who need them.
Gracie had a decent cycle last night; "decent" meaning she wasn't stinkus pinkus ;-) She probably would have come down into green more but we fed her 8% food at PMPS because we were out for the evening; Mike ran home from my DBFF (she lives 2 mins away) to T/F/S and made the good decision to give her a little extra on the carbs so we didn't find her at 50 by +2 since that's how fast she was dropping. Mike also had to be up extra early today to leave for work and I didn't want him to deal with a low number at AMPS when he was trying to get out the door so I fed her at +11...which I normally don't do so it definitely elevated her AMPS. Gracie is doing great today and is enjoying the splendid weather out on the catio.
I got to sleep in
What a treat for me thanks to my wonderful husband!! Normally when he's home, he stays up late and sleeps in so he can stay on the same schedule he usually flies on so I'm up early every day. But today started really early for him so I stayed up last night and he took care of the morning chores for all kitties. I think I finally drug myself out of bed about 9:15 :lol: :lol: :lol:
Have a great day especially if you are out in the crazy crowds. I need to run to PetCo or PetsMart and get a small ramp for Gussie as he has decided the sunshine on the bed in a guest room is pretty alluring and I have to be sure he has a way to get down. Right now, we have blankets and pillows stacked into a ramp but I'm afraid he might slip. Be safe out there if you are shopping!
