And we bounce back to yellows....but with a nice recovery. Good save, Trix.

All is well in SnuggleCity....happy appy, snuggly kitty, easy gelcaps. Short-n-sweet.

Another old behavior resurfaced this morning: Trix was chasing the reflection from DH's orange juice glass! So cute....she tries so hard to catch it! Since it's hard for DH to find the exact spot with the sun to make the reflection happen, we dug out the laser pointer, too, and she had some fun chasing the red dot as well. We have full-on playing again :-D !

@Ella - From yesterday...no, I've never had frostbite. Believe it or not, when I was a younger, I actually did ski, ice skate, and sled. And, I went to college in the midwest. But somewhere in my late 20s, I started becoming really intolerant of cold weather - it drives my skin crazy, and my hands, toes, and nose are always cold. Layering up helps, but doesn't actually "cure" how cold I get in the winter. Even when I'm inside, I usually need a t-shirt, sweater, 2 flannel shirts, and 2 pairs of socks. I don't think I have Raynaud's - I don't have most of those symptoms, and my BW has always shown my thyroid to be normal (although I haven't had BW in awhile, so I am due). I must have poor circulation, even though I do workout 5-6 days a week (cardio and strength). I think it's largely genetics....my Dad is the same way.

Anyway....time to get moving. Have a great day, LL!

Amy

Nice job bringing it back down, Trixie.

How cool that there are still behaviors returning. Makes each day a little more exciting, doesn't it?

What a great report for Trixie. It's wonderful to see old behaviors come back.

Lookin' good, Trixie! Chase that light!
Stu used to love to chase the light that reflected from my watch face. I used to say: 'there's your light, Sunshine" and he would be off. We had a sunny apartment in Brooklyn and the sunlight always came into the dining room around lunch time.

Sorry about your cold fingers and toes, Amy. One of my nieces has Raynauds and she really suffers. She wears down booties inside her house. Try wearing a wool watch cap indoors. 95% of the body's heat is lost through the head and the mountain climbers always say: if your feet are cold, put your hat on.

Have a good evening,

More vines for your dad,

Ella & Rusty

I have another suggestion to help with the cold...move to Central FL! :-D  Good recovery this morning, Trixie and YAYAYAYAYAYAY for play time! Hope you all have a wonderful Caturday, Amy!

Trix and I decided to test her at a different time than usual tonight (in other words, she did not want to be tested before her first dinner  !!), so I went for a "post dinner +3.5" instead....and we haz us a  ! Maybe this is when I'll do her evening test from now on....

ETA...Deborah, DH and I do have plans to move south or west and warmer....but we can't do it just yet  !

Nice recovery, Trix. She defies "normal" with her remission but she sure gets herself back to green.

If you decide to go looking for a place to live in the SW, our door is always open. :-D

Glad Trix is feeling even better. I hope your DF is as well. Continued prayers for his complete recovery.
