Good Morning LL! I think I'm starting to see a trend here, maybe today Tess will earn her green smilie. Not a bad day yesterday especially if that was a bounce anti-jinx!

Tes has a little spot of hair loss on her shoulder. Of course the first thing I thought of was ringworm, but the skin underneath looks fine. It's very close to the spot where she gets the flea treatment but that was 3 weeks ago. I had noticed a few bumps near her tail and was wondering if the Frontline Plus was not effective anymore. i didn't want to re-apply it too soon though. i think the vet gets a call today. :sad:

Thanks for doing my phos. research for me. *grin*. I didn't realize Wellness had more than Friskies. I got a big nutrition printout from Purina, when Checks was diagnosed with renal prob, last month, but have lost it, along with all the others I researched. *sigh*.

Morning Ann, john and Miss Tess. Very nice start today Tess, I hope you can stay there, have a really good surf. Nice day yesterday too - not much of a bounce at all. I hope that maybe that means she's leveling out some. Keep that coming Tess! :-D :cool: :cool:

Oh wow on the hair loss, and the bumps. I wonder what that could be... I will have to remember to check back ans see what your vet says. One would think that if it was a reaction to the flea meds that you would have seen it by now? i dunno....

I ma elated to see that the security monitoring is still in place. Mannie will be so proud. :cool:

Oh Miss Tess - how bootiful you look today!

If your read the back of the box on Frontline, you'll find that it says you may see hair loss at the application site. I have 2 out of 9 that I can get flea meds on that lose hair like that when I use Frontline. I usually use Revolution for them instead - it doesn't affect them like that. Not sure about the bumps...

this is really starting to look like a repeat of yesterday. I'm good as long as she is in blue.

Tess has had hair loss from flea meds before, but it was always within a week of the application. It has been 3 weeks now, so that seems unlikely. So far I've just used a little white vinegar on the spots in case it's a fungus. If it isn't there should be no harm.

You are such a great kitty mom Ann! Who woulda thunk flea meds can cause hair loss? But i'm interested to hear what the tail bumps would be.

No kidding Tess cleared that bounce in NO time, such a good girl cat_pet_icon

I'm planning on making my second batch of kitty fuds on Thursday with the powder you sent, i've gotta remember to buy a little scale like you mentioned. I hope Leo loves it!

we switched to advantage because apparently the fleas around here have become resistant to frontline. did the advantage for a few months and stopped since they're always inside. we seem to be flea-free *knock on wood* for now!

Woohoo!! Great green Tess. You make your beans very happy. Great to hear that she is doing so well. :-D

I have never hear that about the flea medicine. I don't use it on our kitties since they never go outside. Hope that's all it is but the skin looking good is a good indication.
