Happy Caturday, LL!
WCR: All Ps in place. Shasta was very excited to see me last night and she was in a fun and frisky mood, too. Everywhere I went, she ran after me and scolded me for staying out so late. She even left me a gift in her fuds bowl...white mousy. She's so silly! Got snuggles last night and this morning. I bought her a bunch of stuff today...because I could! She has a new, soft sherpa, cat scratcher (for nails...which I doubt she'll use) and another cat scratcher (for her to rub against and help shed hair...but she's more interested in eating the bristles. :-x )
OT: All of my students did well last night. I'm upset about a few of my soloists. They did well and got shafted by the judge, who happens to by a friend of mine). He's a bit of an "old school" choral director (nothing wrong with that), but his advice to a few of my students wasn't good advice and I don't feel like his scores were adequate and fair. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about it. My 2 ensembles did ok, but need massive work (didn't spend a ton of time getting ready for S&E). Oh, and two of my four tenors didn't show up...both for really crappy reasons that came up well after their obligations to this group. Needless to say, that on top of the 3 soloists that got screwed over put me in a crummy mood on my way home last night. Thank goodness for my little Shasta cat that helped put me in a better mood. Too bad she couldn't get rid of my headache. :cry: Today makes 3 days for this headache. blah.
