11/22 Scooter AMPS 99/92, +2 115 !?!?

Good Morning all,
Our beautiful weather of the rest of the week has left us and it's cold and rainy today. I'm having another working vacation day today. Its a good thing too.
Scooter got a reducie to .1 Tuesday PM and has been doing very well on it. This morning he had a soft serve poo right before AMPS. It was the most horrible smelling poo ever and got all over his back end. I went ahead and did T/S/F and was surprised at his number. He ate about 1/2 his breakfast like he was really hungry. I had to put him in the bath to get him cleaned up, he didn't appreciate that at all. He licked at his +2 a bit, but wasn't really eating. I gave him a bit of SEB and sprinkled some freeze dryed chicken on it and he's picking at it now. I had added some small bits of a higher LC food to his regular food the last two days while I was at work to keep him safe. I was hoping it was the food that gave him the soft serve, but I'm wondering now if he's having another flare of whatever it is. I really hope its just the food.

Scooter baby, I hope it was just the food and just a little hiccup with your BG. Does he mind the rain? Jill, he sure did need you today - I know he didn't want to stay dirty:) even though it might have seemed he was disagreeing.

It seems he’s having another tummy spell, whatever they are. He’s really not doing anything more than licking his food a bit, even the buffet I fixed him. I’ve given SEB and Mirtz, hopefully they’ll kick in and he’ll eat something in a while. He doesn’t really seem to feel bad. He’s following me around the house watching to make sure I do my chores properly (usual behavior for Scooter). He seems to have forgiven the bath, he hopped up in my lap when I sat down at my desk. He doesn’t mind storms/rain at all. Nothing really scares him.
 
I sure hope the SEB and Mirtz help his appetite. I only gave Tina SEB once, and it worked well. Paws crossed for Scooter and you too. None of my animals mind storms either. Kisses to your forgiving boy:cat:
 
Exciting to see Scooters SS . Fingers crossed it continues.

Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts. Scooter ate a little freeze dried chicken, then a bit latter some Tiki Stick and just now some Tiki Mousse! Either it was the food from the last two days, a much less severe flare of ?, or the SEB and Mirtz worked really well. I have no idea, but I’m relieved he’s eating. A big thanks to @LizzieInTexas for the care package a while back. It’s definitely helped today.
 
I think we have a kitty tummy bug. Civvie Toby has thrown up several times this evening and not real interested in food. He’s had SEB now too.
