Another day beginning with pink...(and I don't even like her music :roll: .) PurrFace is driving this wagon so I guess I gotta go to what ever zone he decides to go to. :-|

Thank you Mary and Aseel for visiting our condo. I sure hope PurrFace takes the advice that both of you gave him and comes down to the blue or green zone. I have a feeling that he is going to wait until he see me carving the turkey to begin his dive. He likes to be the center of attention and there is now way he's going to let a dumb turkey take center stage while he is in the room.

My 10 year old grandson can't wait to get here today so he can jump in the pool. I always make sure it's heated to a nice 90 degrees on the winter holidays. I hope you both have a wonderful day and don't eat all of the turkey, remember you have to leave some so you can be eating turkey for the next 5 or 6 days. :lol:

Hi John and PurrFace, Happy Thanksgiving to you and Dw and PurrFace. This may be okay for a while until you get everything done today. I hope he doesn't dive when you're carving the turkey. How nice that your DGS can have fun today swimming in the heated pool. PurrFace, I think it's okay to come down to at least to blue. Green would also be nice. Have a great holiday.

Mary, Asoolty & Ann I'm not sure whether PurrFace is coming down because of your advice or because he saw me put the turkey in the oven. Actually I think it was your encouragement that got him step down to the yellow. Thank you, all. :smile: :thumbup

Enjoy your day, John and Donna, with your family. You are a grandpa extraordinaire......I hope you have a solar heater. It would cost us a fortune in gas to heat our pool this time of year :-D

Thanks Marje. We heat the pool with gas. Not too bad, about $35, but it's small, 15,000 gallon.

Thank you Ann for your words of encouragement and dancing kitties you posted in our condo. It must have worked because he made it to the blue zone. I fed him some 9% carb food at +6 to slow him down a little bit.

Thank you Sienne and Leslie for visiting the condo. I guess I should not have feed PurrFace the 9% carb food at +6. I wasn't thinking and didn't want him to come down too fast as he has in the past but he was probably just hitting his nadir at +6 and would have come up a bit higher anyway but I gave it the extra boost. Hope he comes down tonight. I'll be up fairly late checking him.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with friends and family and of course lots of kitties. cat_pet_icon

I knew I shouldn't have put those old Beach Boys songs on tonight!! PurrFace selected 409 as his favorite. I think he'll come down. I messed up feeding him the 9% at the +6/127. :sad:

Sounds like you were having a fine Thanksgiving. 90 degree water in the pool? OMG, that's practically boiling!!! You could throw the potatoes in and save some money on cooking gas :lol:

John, thanks for the laugh comparing PurrFace's number tonight with the Beach Boys song. I guess I am showing how old I am since I remember that one. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and your grandson enjoyed the swim.

Melissa, Ella & Georgia. Thank you for visiting our condo tonight. It's always great to read your post. Great idea about the potatoes, Ella. I never thought of that. He loves when we toss items in the pool and he can dive for them. One day this summer when he was in the pool and asked me to throw something in for him to dive for I told him I had just the thing. I went to the picnic table and picked up the water melon and threw it in the pool. The look on his face was priceless when it hit the water but he was even more surprised when it floated. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

I sure hope PurrFace gets off his HIGH (#) horse and comes down at least to the high blues.
