Good Morning LL!

Yesterday's condo.

Many thanks to Julie, Chris, and Libby last night for your support. Chris, I loved your surfing kitten :lol:.

After Ophie's HC food at +3, I woke for a +6 (I actually thought I set my clock for a +5, but clearly cannot be trusted with math at night or when I'm stressed). Either way, kitty went up quite a bit... so I think she's sensitive to HC food, or maybe that would have happened anyway as a result of the missed shot recently.

Anyway......!! Today is a new day and I will be buying strips in bulk :-D.

Withholding Ophie's food has become somewhat of a mini-soap opera. Today, after her +11, DH decided to skip his workout and chit chat with me at the kitchen table. Ophie was happy as a clam sitting on my legs, flat on her belly, with paws draping down.... with a deafeningly loud purr. No protest whatsoever. She knows that when "grown-ups are talking, you don't interrupt." So, we finished our chat and I went up for a shower. There was no frost today, she was molten hot. She started shouting again. She reallllly realllly wanted me to know she was not pleased. When I emerged from shower she was hiding (sulking?). At 6:25, she heard me in the food cabinet and came running. She took her poke like a champ (sans purrs though), and was very happy to get breakfast.

Looks like Ophie is a quick learner! :-D She is adjusting quickly, maybe not happily, to the new routine. (at least today :lol: )

I start to get a little panicky when I realize I opened my last pack of 50 strips. :o :o

Hi Jane, yes, Ophie is learning fast. I'm proud of her :-D

She back to blue at +3... Phew!

I just went up to CVS and it turns out, there is a recall on FreeStyle Lite test strips. I almost couldn't buy any (they had to run 6/7 boxes through before they found one), which was super stressful. I posted about the recall on the main forum, so hopefully others will be aware and plan ahead before they find out they're completely out of strips (like me!) and that their CVS/store is carrying the recalled lot (like me!).

Ophie's PMPS was 150. I suspect I will be up late again tonight making sure she will be okay. nailbite_smile
 
Nice number for Ophie at PMPS...and some darn good numbers during the AM cycle!!

Go Ophie...work that juice!!

Glad you liked the kitty!...he wasn't exactly surfing...he's more into water skiing :lol:
 
Hi Joely - I see green on Ophies SS already tonight. You might want to feed a tsp or two of low carb food to see if you can get her surfing the greens.

I can so sympathize with the +11 test and no fuds issue. Neko seems to be fine with a +10 test, but +11 test just means dinner is about to be served! :lol:

I've been up with Ophie, worried about how low she would go. Anyway, I've gotten two greens holding, so I think I'm safe for bed now. She has been eating all night, actually, she grazes. So I opened two cans (put on 2 floors) and she's made progress in both. She's never one for the CPC, so this seems normal for her. She's quite happy to tonight, hanging with me, all purrs, and playful too.

I think she is good for the night, and I'm heading for bed.

Hoping everyone is well and your fur babies are giving you good numbers tonight!
