Yesterday also started blue, but rose up to a couple of other floors during the day. The night started yellow and slid to green. :-D

The last few times Neko has hit low 100s at +6, she has hovered there then gone up. So last night I debated doing a +7 and decided it would be best so set the alarm. She went down. :o So I waited up for another 20 minutes to see if she was going up yet. 71. :shock: 14 points in 20 minutes :shock: So I brought out the big guns (HC) cause I really really wanted to sleep. When I got up 40 minutes later she was at 122. I don't know if that was the gravy talking. Sometimes on her own Neko will zoom up from a low. Darn that wandering nadir. :twisted:

Although we in Canada already celebrated our Thanksgiving, I send a Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it today. It's also another chance to remind myself of things I am thankful for:
- today is the last day of window installation!
- we did not find an ants nest this morning, as we expected when they pulled down our bedroom window (carpenter ants are a PNW hazard)
- today is 15 weeks since Neko's SRT, she continues healthy and seems to be improving bit by bit
- our LL family are well today, Liz and Zener are fine after last nights action, and Roni and Moonie's life is improving
- we continue to be grateful to FDMB and LL, without whom Neko would likely be on higher and higher doses of Caninsulin, and undiagnosed for acromegaly!

Great cycle last night and looks like another good one stacking up for today.

Thanks for remembering us all and I'm glad your windows are almost done!

Marje - I am mystified. The previous 3 mornings she was blue and went up at +4. Why did your crystal ball say she would go down?

I had to haul her out from behind a bookcase to get that test. The scary men are outside the rec room windows doing trim.

Hi Wendy - what a nice day for Neko. Beautiful numbers!!! :-D :-D LOVE that green! Now if only Mannie could remember how to do this... Interesting cycle for Neko yesterday - up then abck down. Weird sometimes how they do what they do...

YAY! on the window installation. I so remember how fun that can be. We redid ours a few years back. AWESOME too that there weer no ants.... one has to love those.

@Michelle - We'll send the ropes for Mannie! The last month or so, Neko has gotten into the habit of going up as often as she goes down for her +4, especially if she starts in nice numbers. It's like her onset has moved later. Installation is quieter today, although I've had to contend with a couple instances of the power tools going off as I was trying to test Neko :shock: We've seen sawdust come down outside the window outside our bedroom, and birds have been attaching themselves to the window screen and pecking at something there. So yes, big sigh of relief on nothing much. DH still opened a hole in the wall to verify and we'll put ant bait there, but no major reno required. :-D

And please send the ropes... he had such a good day yesterday, and I had hoped he would head there again. Guess Mr Liver had other ideas. :roll: -- omg on the power tools at test time. I can only imagine... for me that would be claws attached in the leg, as he is on my lap for testing. I can so see DH making sure -mine would too. at least the repair on that is no big deal. never a dull moment huh.

Enjoy the rest of your day. I hope Neko surfs well for you. We are about to head on out for our holiday dinner.

Neko has decided to surf at a higher water level. :-D I love how she can jump almost thirty points in 1/2 hour with no extra food other than FD chicken treats. If I hadn't done that +6 test, I would have missed the drop. I've seen her do that before. Surf along at a nice level, then do a quick dive and recover.

@Michelle - Neko is on my lap too at test time. I had to keep one arm on her to keep her from darting away as I tried to get the meter onto the blood drop. Enjoy the dinner!

@Liz - Neko seems to be in better surfing numbers now. The guys might have to come back for a couple of hours tomorrow. :cry: Not sure they'll get the work all done today. We were so looking forward to the sleep in - workmen always start a little earlier than we'd like to be up and presentable.

Nice day for Neko! I hope your windows are all done. We did that this spring. It was a mess and caused turmoil but is so worth it now. Have a great night Wendy!

At least she kept it to the pink floor. ohmygod_smile :roll: I shouldn't be surprised, I was expecting the bounce to happen during the day.

@Melissa - Still a part day of windows to go. Mostly the rooms where the kitties were staying during the day. They'll be in a different room tomorrow, but it should be less than 1/2 a day. They do get restless by the end of the day locked into one spot, even if I was there with them for most of it.

@Rhiannon - Yup, Neko picked Thanksgiving when most of the people were away to show off! Even better, it was two good cycles in a row.
 
At least there was some green :mrgreen: Clear that bounce Neko! Too much turkey yummy, you silly little one?

Hi Helen. No turkey for Neko today. Today she had chicken and venison. We celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada in October. Neko's just not used to two good cycles in a row. It was more than her liver could handle. :lol:
