Good Morning....thought I'd start a new condo for this.

I got a quick email from Jill last night. She said the ICU delirium continues and Mike has ongoing confusion but that his sense of humor remains good. She is very tired; family has all gone home for now but
her DS is due in on Thursday to help her.

I asked her if there was anything we could do for her and she said we have done so much already and she can't think of anything right now.

So we'll just all keep those prayers, healing thoughts, snowflakes, white light, and LOVE coming, Jill and Mike!! We hope he can have his surgery tomorrow and start on the road to a complete recovery.

Marje, I was just thinking about Jill and DH, so thanks for the update. That's nice her DS is coming on Thursday to help her. Prayers and vines and white light for Jill and DH and for a successful surgery tomorrow.

I sure hope Mike is well enough to get the surgery tomorrow. Tons of healing energy and strength and love to Jill and Mike every day. Thanks for the update Marje.

It sounds like the surgery is a "go" for tomorrow. The plan is for rehab on Wed. or Thurs. depending on how things go with the surgery (and other issues like bed space, I'm sure).

Surgery is over. He's resting comfortably. All is well.

So happy to hear this news!!! I've been thinking about Mike a lot.

Jill-
Being in the hospital during the holidays can be tough, but it can also be remembered as a time that you guys came together and made the best out of a sucky situation. Last year when Dave had his brain bleed (he didn't have to have surgery because his bleed was veinous not the same as Mike's) he was in the hospital for his birthday. On that day he got moved out of the ICU to a regular floor where he wouldn't be watched and monitored constantly...it was a huge change and he actually missed the ICU because the "service" wasn't as good on the regular floor. :lol: Anyway...he had just moved into his new room and I told the nurses it was his birthday and they all came in and sang Happy Birthday but they didn't know his name yet so when they sang "happy birthday dear _____" they all looked at me and I sang "Daaave" and then they finished the song. It was very funny. Then I gave them cupcakes that I had made. Looking back now it's a happy memory for us. It can be this way for you guys too!!! Stay strong. I'm SO happy the surgery was successful. I can't get him off my mind.

I'm so glad to see that the surgery went well! I hope Mike will have a smooth and speedy recovery from here on! Jill, you must be exhausted....I hope you are getting some rest. (((hugs))) Keeping the vines, snowflakes and positive thoughts heading your way....
 
So glad to hear that the surgery went well!!! Healing vines and prayers being sent for a quick recovery. My BFF had the same thing happen about 10 years ago and recovered fully without any problems since. I just know the same will be said for Mike in 10 years. ((((JILL & MIKE))))
