11/22 Doodle update

[Michelle and Doodle]

We dropped Doodle off this morning at University of Florida again.
He's had a bit of a tough time the last couple of days trying to recover from the anesthesia and adjust to his feeding tube... but overall he's done well. He hasn't thrown up, but I have only been feeding him about 15ml every 2 hours, -- hopefully I will be able to increase that and be able to get some sleep at some point because obviously that can't go on long term.

The plan today is to remove the mass that is in his nasopharynx -- but since it is in an unusual location the surgeon says that could be a bit more complicated than normal. They will keep him in ICU tonight and possibly tomorrow - depending on how he does.

Thank you everyone for your support - I really really can't tell you how much it means to me.
I apologize for posting sporadically - I will try to keep everyone updated on how things go.

Brielle (my 3 year old) is feeling better and has been very good through all of this - she was kind enough to pass her fever and sickness on to both Me and DH :roll: - but we are feeling better today as well.

I got a phone call a bit earlier saying Doodle's surgery went well! I'm sooo relieved...
They said he was up and walking around, but he'll be staying overnight so we won't be able to see him till tomorrow.
Now I'm planning to load up on sleeping pills and see what a full nights sleep feels like.
