All is well in CurryLand.

I gave her some 4% FF this morning.....we usually do 2%.......No contraband eaten this morning since Sid enjoyed an all canned brkfst (still working on Sid's transition to canned).

Had a nice bike ride this morning and had an opportunity to view the eery Beaver Moon as wisps of clouds floated by.....Two more mornings of nice weather until a cold front hits...should be nice and cozy on T-Day...rainy and cold.....good time to be inside.

Kim.....Not much or not yet.....Unless she getting ready to drop AGAIN...and the carbs are keeping her up a bit....Who knows.....Yesterday Curry's brkfst was 1/2 8% kibble (bad Curry)and 1/2 2% FF.....so she really got about 5% carbs yesteday morning....which didn't seem to impact her.......Just experimenting w/foods under 5%......Sid might like those better as well.....Thursday they will get the Turkey and giblets (3%).....Curry is cooking. :mrgreen:

This is weird....I took the +2.75 reading 2x....1st-78 and 2nd-73.....then she was meowing and carrying on....decided to retest...down to 58 at +3.25...so half an hour later.....

She did a similar thing last night......Darn that Beaver Moon..... :mrgreen:

I feel like she and I were on a mini-rollcoaster ride....first thought she was gonna dive...then she didn't...then she came to me meowing like her numbers were falling....then I fed her .....then back up again....wow.......and boy was she pissed at all the pokes before running off to work....

Yes...dribbling....weird dribbling...she was 105 at +7.5....I hope her snack has brought her back down for +12.

Wonder if the 4%FF was more than 4%. Used Janet and Binky's food list...gave her Chicken Feast Classic.... Or perhaps the 4% was just too much for her.....Although the 8% (contraband-EVO kibble) and 2% FF yesterday morning didn't seem to phase her. Or maybe the cummulative effect of the extra carbs over the last few day....or the Beave Moon.....OR.....Curry is just being Curry.

Maybe just a blip.....in any event...went back to the FF 2% tonight.

Probably shot approx 30 minutes late....Left work later due meeting.

I'm off starting tomorrow.....2 more good days for biking before the chilly weather hits....then I ride the training bike inside...not as enjoyable, but it works.

Interesting on the food - I read somewhere that that particular FF was a different carb now - when they redid their formula... wish I could remember where.....

Yes...I was born in Ft. Worth but only lived there when I went to college and grad school at TCU but two of my sisters lived in Houston for MANY years so I visited alot. I think that is a general statement about TX weather...don't like it? wait 5 mins. :lol: :lol: Have a great evening, Tena!

Wasn't me. My recollection is that several people contacted Purina when the new cans came out and they said the formula was the same -- only the labels were changed. I never saw a change in Gabby's numbers and she was eating FF at the time. Miriam did see a change with Putty, though.
