Cleo has 4 P's in place this morning. Appy was good, she was in the mood for a nice, long brushing; lots of headbutts and purring.

I will wait another cycle or two to increase her as these numbers could still be bounces from her 11/19 lows. I think I am getting a little better with the calipers. Bright light helps. I think I will follow Ella's suggestion and get some kind of headlamp to keep the hands free.

DH, DS & I have tickets to a show put on by our community theatre, Le Mis. It has wonderful reviews and has sold out every show. It is for 8 PM tonight, and I will be gone for 3 hours. I hope my Cleo cooperates.

I'm glad Cleo is feeling good this morning despite the pink. I hope it's just a bounce and she comes back down soon. I use a headlamp to help me see Furball's dark ear when I test. I hold the syringe and calipers under a lamp. I think the headlamp would work well too. They also come in handy for testing if the power goes out.

I too will hope this is just a bounce and that Cleo comes down soon. There were times when it would take Mannie a few days to clear them. Others were he was voer it in a day. It was hard sometimes to tell which is which... down you go Cleo.

I used a head lamp too, had one that also had fold down magnifiers. Sure did help, as the hands were free.

Enjoy the show tonight. I too will hope Cleo comes forth with that permission slip. Be good Cleo, 'K?

DH is off today and was able to get a +3.5. Happy for a yellow, after yesterday's pink/red day!

Your beans have a show to catch tonight!

I use a very bright flash light, not the normal single bulby kind, but the big one with white LED lights (multiple bulby thingies, kind of like this), when I measure dose with calipers.
I put it in a box, have it lean on something, to light not straight up but about 45 degree angle (sideway), and do the dosing over the light.
The plastic ring thingy which is the actual zero line becomes very easy to see.

Looks like Cleo is gonna play it safe today so you can enjoy your show I just realized how much I have missed the arts since moving here. Can't wait to hear how it was Good job mastering the calipers (yes bright light is a must). I just ordered my new ones online today so two weeks from now I will be startiing all over again :lol:

Much better Cleo! cat_pet_icon Keep on easing down, but not too much - momma wants to have a little fun tonight.

I measure the syringe under an overhead kitchen light over the sink. The sink is white and a white background helps. Not the best choice for a sink colour, but it sure help in filling a syringe. Who knew. :lol: :lol: :lol:
