2 1/2 days of no poop was very alarming. Last night and today I gave TiTi extra miiralax -zip. Then I turned to lactulose. After about 11 cc of lactulose, she finally pooped. I was really worried because her middle region resembled a boa that had swallowed a fetal pig. Now she's kind of distended, but I hope that's gas. She's also pretty quiet, but this is when she ordinarily sleeps.
She's either bouncing to yellow BGs, and/or reacting to the sugar in the lactulose.
Oddly, even after all that intervention, though she pooped a large fat stool, it was normal. I expected diarrhea.
??? I'm not sure whether or not to continue the lactulose and/or up the Miralax, or what. Be nice to have some input. She's had 3 manual evacuations in the last year,. Constipation is always a possibility for her. Preventing it is always tricky.
OK. Never mind. The diarrhea just arrived. It oozed out right after another normal poop, and, alarmingly, it looks like there's more to come.

What has worked for Elmo is Pet Alive Natural Moves . It does have a bitter taste so I mix with syringe of water and give it to him that way . He still is not fond of it BUT has had a BM every day since we started it almost 9 months ago !!!! Might be worth checking out for Titi cos we both know there are much more fun ways to spend our time than giving our fur babies enemas
