Good Morning LL! I hope Tess will continue to come down today, yesterday she had second thoughts about it. I'm BTB, be back later. Full moon party tonight, Tess and I need to rest up.

Hey Tess! Guess what?!?! Miss Ella said we can come to Camp Stu for our Full Beaver Moon Celebration. She says that there are beavers there. How cool is that! Maybe we can celebrate with them. The roadster is ready if you want a ride. I've got good fuds - salmon and trout and stuff - it should make for good grillin'. See you later? ~~ Mannie

Down at +1 holding breath. I got second breffis ready and couldn't find Tess. After half an hour I found her under the comforter in bed. She never goes there, she didn't even move when i went btb. The rain has been upsetting her, thunder last night, so every thing is delayed by half an hout now.

Whoa! She tried to skip the blues altogether.

We just stayed together un bed until +3, nice cuddle time. The weather has her a little upset, it can't make up it's mind if it is going to pour or be sunny. We don't get much thunder here and there were some good ones last night. I like thunder, I don't think Tess agrees.

ohmygod_smile I keep going away before I see the post go up. :roll: The drop has slowed, Tess is in the green, breffis is don (hers and mine), time to visit condos and give a little bit of brushig to that soft. soft fur. I t must be purrrrfect for the party tonight.

Rest well Marjorie, you certainly deserve it.

Celi, better OSU than U of MN. Never understood why anyone would want to be a gopher!

Tess seems to be holding here nicely, so happy to see greens already and the bounce cleared. I'll have time to get some holiday prep done today. :-D

Just saw your post Caryl. Since tess is small and a picky eater, I need to count calories to make sure she get enough. To do that I weigh her food on a small digital scale. It weighs to 1/100th of an ounce and, for me, is easier than eyeballing how much a teaspoon is every time. This is what I use http://www.harborfreight.com/digital-pocket-scale-93543.html Just put the dish on it, turn it on and add food.

281 - 111 in two hours??? I think I'd faint. She does like to keep you on your toes doesn't she.

Do they get colder as they drop too? maverick's paws were shivering a bit the other day when he was hanging out in the 80s.

Up a little, but not much and we are past nadir. I hope Tess doesn't bounce much from that 170 pt drop this morning. Not sayin nuttin about the decrease but :-D that we got greens again already.

Karrie, I don't see that much ear temp difference when Tess is low, but it really depends on what she has been doing, curled in a sunbeam or sitting in an open window.

Karrie-I'm not an expert on this but that doesn't sound right. Are you sure Maverick wasn't walking on a cold floor? The 80's aren't that low and shouldn't cause the paws to shiver or become cold. It's well within the normal range of a non diabetic cat. The pads of the paws being cold USUALLY indicates poor circulation....for various reasons, not generally a drop in blood glucose.

Hopefully someone else will answer this....

Great day for Tess....well, except that drop :lol: :lol: Nice to see her temporarily in blue and then in GREEN!!

Still haven't laid down...trying to get as much done as I can...stepson coming early this week and so much to do while Gracie is not screeching down.

seems the teeter totter is working again. Tess goes up, Mannie goes down. We simply must talk to these two. On the good side - at least you can go to bed now. NI NI!
