Good Morning, Everyone,

Safe travels to all who are traveling "Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house . . ." (or to wherever). Today is the busiest travel day of the year. (We are holding off until Saturday, when we will be going to the City for a few days.)

Giving thanks this Thanksgiving for the wonderful friendships we enjoy on this board. Thinking of you all.

Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. At one point he woke me with kitty kisses and ear licks. But then he snuggled back down in "his" spot on the quilt. The dish of nighttime food was, as usual, polished clean. We missed our "first bell" alarm this morning, but the "ducks" back-up sounded loud and clear. Rusty also contributed to the wake-up call by raking his litterbox loudly, then hopping out of it and tearing around the hall. Happy cat. We seem to be having a little bounce from the greens of the past two days. He may have gone low last night. This morning Rusty had a good test, shot, breakfast (Wellness Chicken), a schmooze, and now a nap in his little bed by the radiator.

We are supposed to have a mild day and we intend to take advantage of the weather by finishing up the touch-up painting on the garage.

LOL on the LB wake up call. One always has to love those. :lol: Good thing he contributed to your rise and shine. :-D

What a nice start for Rusty today. What I would give to call a blue a little it of a bounce, but in reality it is for Rusty. The past few days have been really good ones for him. It is so nice to see the lagoon master back on the job. Well done Rusty! :cool: :razz:

Nice on the weather - our is awful yet again this morning. One has to love November in the PNW: soggy! Enjoy that painting. which also reminds me: how long before that door you painted a while back dried? What was it oil based, and would not dry? Good luck today, and enjoy the weather.

Morning Ella, so cute with the ducks alarm. I've missed hearing about the ducks alarms waking or not waking you uo! :lol: That's not a bad bounce, and I bet Rusty does a nice slide. Have a great and so glad the temps are milder, too.

Funny on being awakened by LB scratching....better than being awakened by aroma therapy.
That's a mighty fine amps. I bet Rusty gives you some gorgeous greens today. Nice that you were planning on doing things at home anyway.

Thank you for the caliper advice in Checks condo last night. I need to start playing with them, in earnest. :smile:

Hi again,
Whew! Just finished the garage painting. As usual, I opened a Pandora's Box! All the work was done above my head, under the eaves of the roof, and my neck is sore!! Think I'll take an Advil.

Rusty, on the other hand, had a nice afternoon with some outdoor time (until the Shadow showed up and spoiled it) and some nap time.

We are looking forward to a relaxing evening and a wonderful holiday tomorrow.

What a fantastic day for Rusty. :mrgreen: I thought by now, Shadow would have given up trying to be friends with Rusty.
Or was that not what he had in mind? Did he dare chase Rusty's squirrels? :lol:

Thanks for the litter hint yesteday. I will look into it. I think part of our problem is "Mr. Dump and Dash" has such poor lb skills, always uses it. but then he backs into his little "puddle" ohmygod_smile

Nice numbers for Rusty. At least the Shadow is friendly, even if Rusty doesn't like him.

Yay for happy cat! I love the little whisker wake-ups, or the manner-tearing-around-the-house alarm :-D I haven't gotten the LB one yet. (YET!)

This year I feel full of thanks giving - I am so lucky in so many ways, and finding FDMB is one of them. Thank you for being there for us, for visiting, and for sharing your life and kittie-ness.
