I know getting back in remission doesn’t alway happen. I just don’t understand how he is so good reacting to drops and .1 doses and not go back into remission. He was in blue at 129 when I came back from vacation to me his somewhat diet controlled. I’m thinking this is what it is, and feeling like .1 is his dose.. considering being done with this logging and just dose him .1 or is he drops below 40 again do drops until he rises AGAIN where he needs more than a drop… it’s even crossing my mine to just stop giving him insulin and check his numbers a couple times a day and see if he goes way up again.

I can’t remember and don’t have time to check. Did you take him to the vet to check for infection or if there’s an issue with his teeth? Has he ever had a dental?

Yes once we saw he was out of remission and spiked we took him and got the blood work and teeth where checked and was told he did have any issues with them or infection with his teeth.

Looking at his past ss he was hitting above normal bg in July 2021 and you stopped spot checking or recording. His bg is better since being on insulin.

I stopped checking 04/17/2021 after remission and July I decided to check after I made the dumb mistake of going away for the weekend in June letting him eat kibble since we didn’t have anyone to give him soft food. I created the 2022 SS I guessed the came out of remission end of June when we let him have the kibble for a few days. July 6 22 we went to vet and got blood work. And confirmed out of remission with bloodwork and rebuked out teeth or infection
