Yesterday, fur shot recovery?

Well, I guessed wrong again last night. I thought Neko had hopped aboard the blues cruise. Evidently not. :oops: First test this AM was 53 but I wasn't 100% sure it got enough blood. At +9, Theo woke me up with all lovey dovey but I decided to not test. At +10.5 DH got up to help lift coach boat motors out of the water in the pouring rain. Neko came into the room while he was showering and was insisting on attention. Lots of vocalizations, on her back and demanded tummy rubs. Guess I should have tested. Sigh. But +12 may well have been her nadir - it often is.

Today I take DH to the airport so he can pick up his car in Portland (after 4 months of rework). Excellent timing for little miss to be low at preshot. Thank goodness it was Levemir she got this morning instead of Lantus. I might be doing a bit of testing today. :lol:

Needless to say, Neko's in fine form today. Lots of purring/cuddling and some good whacking to start the day.

Your DH did what at +10??? Is it even light out at +10 AM?? :shock: As I said with Polly, this doesn't look like a fur shot- Miss Neko is looking really good! Oh I feel for your DH if he plans to drive home tonight, it's been pouring rain all day long!!! ohmygod_smile

Neko did her usual bump today. I got stuck at the eye doctor an hour longer than I expected (yesterday it was a 10 minute visit, sigh), traffic was horrible and just got home for +9.5. nailbite_smile Neko was the first one down the stairs to greet me. :-D

@Sarah, Anne, Suzanne, Carla, Ruth - It feels so strange on Lev being able to wait a couple hours before testing after shooting a 63. If Neko was on Lantus I'd be a lot more nervous. I guess it wasn't much of a fur shot the other night, maybe just a drop or two short. DH is NOT driving home tonight, I just talked to him. Same weather in Portland as here. Wouldn't want to drive in the dark and wet in a car that's just been upgraded to 300 HP. Yes, boys and their toys. :roll: :lol: He got up at 6AM this morning, and spent over an hour hauling heavy boat motors. Been a long day.

Whew, Neko. What a start. Gulp.

But how great that she was the greeter when you got home from errands. I get nothing but a few ear turns and maybe a slit-eye look from the napping cats. Takes Polly a few minutes to process...oh, the one with thumbs. she opens the tins. food. food. oh, hi, hi, hi. feed me . and she'll thump off the bed to come yell at me. Yes, I know my purpose.

Hope you and kits have a cozy evening.

Great cycle, Neko, especially after a fur shot! I really like those extra hours Lev. affords, too. Sounds like you and your DH had a hectic, busy day. I'm glad he decided not to drive back tonight in that weather.

Lovely day for Neko, and her timing was great, with your eye appt. It's so nice when they cooperate like that. Cinco's been doing that a lot lately, but I'm not sure it's on purpose! :roll:

Sending safe travel vines for your DH. I hope the weather is better tomorrow.
