well...... a yellow day yesterday for Mannie. We had a great amps - I had hopes that he would repeat the day before, but alas... that was not to be. I am grateful though that, for the most part, he stayed yellow, and did try for the stratosphere. All in all, not too bad of a bounce. Lubs ya big guy: thanks for not staying on the floor with that "other color". cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D The last major fur brushing brought on WWIII. :lol: This time is was like a visit to the land of the whimpers. :shock: :roll: Poor Nanner King.... his bean decided that his belly fur needed attention today. So tackle that we did. sheshhhh... What a baby. :lol: I placed him on his back, in my lap and proceeded to comb and comb and comb and comb some more. MY GRACIOUS! Who designed cat where the belly fur is a good 3-4" long?!?! Funny thing was, he just laid there and whimpered as I brushed. Until I got to the last mat. Then all sort of nastiness was unleashed - there''s my boy! Growls :shock: and hisses :o and chomps :? , and curled lips :twisted: and bellows :shock: :shock: ... but A-HA! Mats are all gone. Bean 10, Mannie 3, Fur Mats 0. We had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs from the Nanner King! Breffis was consumed with gusto, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used: I still can't believe it... It has been so cold here... like 29 at night... and the kitties know it. They have all retired to their beds... nice fluffy fleece lines beds... where sleep mode rules the roost. No doubt that they will stay there. What a life! Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! We are back to the rains today, or so they say. I hope to get in a walk to the shore, a short trek in the woods. Do you know that it is basically only month until Christmas? ARRGGHHH!!!

Hey everybody! What's up? I so hope Rusty is still in NYC! I wonder if we can go hang gliding from some of those buildings... hmmmm.... we need to check that out. KTSS this morning too - we still got sick friends. Soup is on the stove - you guys in? ~~ Mannie

Good Morning! Mannie and Tarragon are playing on the pink floor today. We need to tell them that is the wrong color! Come on down big guy to the yellows and blues. Good job on the brushing. Tummy fur is a NO WAY zone for T. Turnup will let me brush her all day long. Go figure.

Nothing is quite so chilling as when it's cold AND damp. I think your kitties are very smart - curl up on a nice cozy bed. Beans, on the other hand, want to go outside? How silly is that! I guess we are smart enough to wear the right gear for a nice walk on the beach. :lol: :lol: Enjoy your day, Michelle.

Hi guys ... I like that mannie is already heading down to the yellow floors at +2 ... Glad to hear most of the belly brushing went off well, can't blame a boy for growling at least once or twice, right? It's been quite cool here at night as well but I like it that way .. makes for better sleeping weather! One month till Christmas .. I already got my cards addressed! Have a great day!

Hi Mannie, you doing okay after your haircut or after dematting. Maybe your Bean will give you some of Nicholas' bf as a reward. Maggie thinks it's a good idea. Hi Michelle, I hope Mannie comes down today, but right now he's telling you it's okay to take a trek thru the woods or a walk on the beach. It's a little chilly here, too, only 48 degrees but will be getting into the low 60's. My typing keeps jumping into the middle of the paragraph today for some reason. Have a nice day and belly rubs to Mannie.

Mannie actually tolerated it fairly well, but sure let me know when he had had enough. :lol: :lol: :lol: :cool: I kn ow on the others - it is the same way here. The other two love it.

Hi Ann - I know.... darn cat! Just had to see the pink floor again. sheshhhhh!!!! I keep telling him - pink is not a boy color.... and yes on the trip to the shore. I will go, but will wait for the monsoon to blow through.

Mannie, Now that Moonie is OK, she would like you to get in the brushing groove!! It's her favorite event brushing(she's a tux cat-short hair) and she gets a halo livalittle treat right after!

Drops in my eyes didn't help today, nor did the loss of my Internet, but all is fine now. I hope the kitties had a good time gliding off the backs of Patience and Fortitude (the NY Public Library lions).

Hi Mannie, nice blue tonight. Thanks for visiting me in the city. We had a great time, yes? Tomorrow I go home to my house. My Mamabean says the weather there is cold and snow is coming tomorrow night. I hope the squirrels will still be there!

What a day today Mannie but I sure got a little skeptical about being on those high buildings and all that wind up there!!!! Tomorrow sounds like more fun!!

Oh Mannie, still trying some of the upper floors. Now, you have a nice PMPS, come down and surf nicely, no dives, fuss, muss, just surf blue/green. You can do this. K? Hope he listens. He is just taking his time adjusting to the dose as usual. Have a great night. Stay warm.
