Good morning

Yesterday's condo

11/20 AMPS=131; +2=176
11/20 Dosecrease PMPS=176; +2=151; +4.5=160; +7=200

11/21 AMPS=203; +2=220; +10.75=160
11/21 PMPS=194; +2=119; +4=124

Lucy got a dosecrease last night from 1 unit to fat 1 unit.
She climbed up to yellow and was still there at AMPS this morning.
I thought I might have given her a fur shot last night, but it could be a NDW.
She's feeling fine despite yellow.
Yellow numbers don't seem to make her sick as they used to a couple of months ago.
She's been in yellow more often than before lately.
I'm glad she's not sick, but I don't know if it's such a good thing that her body is more used to higher numbers.... I don't think it is.

She ate her 1st breakfast reasonably well.
She hasn't pooped yet today, so I added PEG powder in her food again.

Ginger pooped last night.
I know I found it within 15 minutes after she pooped because I kept checking the LB, but it was so hard I couldn't believe it was fresh!
This morning, I added some pumpkin to her food.
She seems to mind it less than PEG powder.
I added some water to her 2nd dinner of canned food last night and made it soupy, but she didn't like it at all.
Since when are you so finicky, Ginger?

I hope everyone's having a nice day.

Re: 11/21 Lucy AMPS=203;+2=220

Sometimes it takes a day or two for an increase to show on the BG so maybe Lucy hasn't caught up to the increase yet. Have a great day! :-D

Re: 11/21 Lucy AMPS=203;+2=220

Good luck with the dosecrease. I hope Lucy starts working the extra juice soon. I hope the pumpkin helps Ginger.

Re: 11/21 Lucy AMPS=203;+2=220

Hi Mariko,

I was just going back thru your posts & saw I missed Lucy's cliffdive to 22! :o WOW! What a shocker that must've been! I'm glad she was all right, and what a good catch you made!

Good luck on the dosecrease - maybe you're having some NDW? Also, when Tigger was sick with the URI, once he got better & his numbers got a little better, he bounced alot higher than normal. I don't know if some of those yellows are the same for Lucy since she was feeling punky awhile ago?

Also, good luck with the pumpkin & Ginger - hope it helps!

Re: 11/21 Lucy AMPS=203;+2=220

Hi Mariko! I hope the increase starts to bring Lucy back down soon, and that Ginger will take to the pumpkin. Papaya has a definite line about how much water can be added to her food, too - some is okay but if it's too soupy she is not impressed!

Re: 11/21 Lucy AMPS=203;+2=220

Hi Mariko! Yep, Twice too will not tolerate 'soupy' food, just 'chili' like or 'stew' like. Big sigh to all of our princes and princesses  Hopefully Lucy takes to her new dose soon for you. But great news that she's feeling good despite the yellow :-D Yikes on the rock poo! Gotta work that pumpkin now Ginger (is it strange that writing the words pumpkin and Ginger made my sweet tooth go crazy? ) I am sending you really good poo vines for both kitties. Hope they work quick! Have a good night Mariko :-D

Re: 11/21 Lucy AMPS=203;+2=220

Hi Mariko,
Sending soft poo vines out to Ginger ;-) And glad to hear Lucy is handling the higher numbers a little bit better, at least it's not making her sick
Good luck with the dosecrease. Work the joose Lucy Girl cat_pet_icon
Have a great night Mariko!

Re: 11/21 Lucy PMPS=194

Wow, thanks for the great tip, Amy and Kim.
I had no idea "soup" vs "stew" mattered so much to them.
Ginger just finished her stewy 2nd dinner.

I am curious what Lucy's +2 will be like because I used up the last cartridge this morning, and started a new one this evening.
The old one was about 7 weeks old, so not that old but I sometimes wondered if the insulin was any good.

It's a sad night tonight as we say good bye to Marje's Gussie.....

Re: 11/21 Lucy PMPS=194;+2=119

Good to see Lucy coming down for the +2, so close to green but it is in normal numbers. :-D

I have to add water to Theo's food too and stewy is a good description of the texture. I find it's a little harder mixing in water with raw food.
