AMPS 310

He's still up on top of the mountain this morning....he probably had a nice curve last night but in the 200's as he started and finished the cycle at about the same numbers. If he holds true to form lately, he'll drop later today and surf in the 100's...come on baby boy, get off that mountain!

It's really hard to know what happened in the PM cycle, because you did not get any mid cycle tests. He easily could have dropped into the blues or greens without you realizing it. Many cats go lower at night. Can you please get at least a before bed test every night? You are literally missing half of your data.

You reminded me again...I need to put together a 'restrictions' document and attach to my sig. I have real issues testing during the pm hours especially when we get off schedule. We're almost back to our 'right' time and I can at least get a pm+2. I'm trying really hard to get a few pm cycle tests but, as you can see, it's not very successful. I want to know what he's doing then also....wish I could clone a 'me' for the nights so one of us can sleep. I can't take care of DH's paralysis attacks and this 76 legged crew without sleep....

With KT seeing such lower numbers, it is important to see what is going on at night. I understand you have things going on, but it's for KT's safety....I'm sure you wouldn't want to put him at risk.

Looks like we may do a late nighter - KT just handed me an 88 at +8! And we just got 4.5 inches of rain in less than 2 hours...

EDIT TO ADD:

....then we lost power as I posted this above...we've now gotten another 1.25 inches and it's still overflowing out there...

Lyresa, you are doing the best you can & Look you got GREEN!!!!
Maybe you could go to bed a little later to get those numbers , or maybe set the clock for time to wake & take a quick test. It's hard to see when KT's nadir is, looks different a lot of the time!
You are doing great, maybe it would be good for you to try tonite to see where he goes...
Hey I'm so not a night person! but it's early on for KT & things could get better & better for him..

I too must add my voice to the "get some PM cycle spot checks" chorus. . .
I can appreciate all you've got going on, however I believe a few sleep tests would really pay off in terms of valuable data
you don't want to maybe miss a signal that a decrease is needed. . .

He's looking GREAT, Lyresa. I know it is so hard to get up at night with all you have going on. When Mike is gone, I put all of Gracie's testing stuff on the nightstand and it takes me literally about two minutes of being awake to test her. Yes....it does interrupt my sleep which would be hard for you with all you have going on. On those nights when I have to get up to test, I do feel somewhat sleep deprived the next day. I can only imagine how difficult that would be on you and you have to keep your health up to take care of DH and the other 76 legs!! (((Lyresa)))

I know when I load this syringe I'm committed to being awake more than asleep tonight but just look what's FINALLY happening! His ears are both touchy so he's not cooperating with me as easily as usual. He's climbed to the top of boxes near the ceiling in the storeroom and gives me that ...test? kiss my.....well, you live with cats too....

I'm going to have to figure out how to do the night thing more now that he's getting into lower numbers. I know I should have been more.....

Looks like Mr. Liver's finally intervening but we got at least 10 hours out of this run. Each time seems to be about an hour longer. The bounce will hopefully clear within this cycle too. I'm going to do my best to get about a +8-ish if possible. None of our animals sleep with us altho' some sleep in the same room. KT sleeps somewhere different every night...
