Good Afternoon!! Prayers and healing wishes go to Jill's Mike with prayers of strength for Jill. Also sending healing vines to Tawny, Tarragon and Charlie, Rocket and Comet, Simon, Attie, Frankie, and Christie if she is still coming down with this cold!!

Baby Girl is a little bouncy this morning but other than that, she has 5Ps in place and has been her adorable self this morning. We had another very cuddly night snuggled in together. This morning after T/F/S, we went btb and when we woke up at 9 am, I was giving her major back scritches which she loves and she was weaving her head around like Stevie Wonder singing a song :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: And oh the purrrrsss!!! She and Tobey have been very playful this morning with their Undercover Mouse toy....major smackdown before bedtime last night...what a pair they are.

Mike got home this morning and is sounding a little croupy :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH: :roll: :roll: I hope he is not getting "the cold". I gave him some echinacea and Airborne. I have found that Dayquil affects me like Nyquil...I become comatose :lol: :lol: :lol: I feel MUCH better this morning and hope I am finally getting the upper hand.

As soon as Gussie is done getting his chiro treatment (shortly), we are headed out to run errands and make the costco run while Gracie is giving us permission. Mike is only home today and tomorrow and then back to work on Wed. :sad: :sad:

Hi guys .. not to bad of a bounce this morning .. yesterdays numbers looked just beautiful! I hope she comes down off the yellow floor before the day is over .. Sorry to hear Mike is feeling under the weather .. hopefully the meds kick in soon and he doesn't catch the full fledged "cold" Have a great day!

Marge, feeling better doesn't give you permission to overdo and end up on the wrong side of Nyquil again. I hope Mike isn't coming down with it! Take care!

Gracie will clear the bounce. She just wants to give you and Mike a chance to get out and do some things. Marje, I think you're not getting better because you're doing so much and not resting enough, but I completely understand, too, as you have a lot going on with helping your Mom and well, just life. I'm the same way, so it's like the pot calling the kettle black or whatever that saying is, if I haven't messed it up. :lol: Hope Mike isn't coming down with it. Enjoy the time away today.

Edit: I just saw where you said you were getting better. :-D

Marje, glad you are feeling a little better but sure hoping Mike isn't coming down with the same thing, especially if he has to work on Wed. Hope you had a good Costco run! I'm sure Miss Gracie will clear this bounce quickly.

My DSIL who flies all the time swears by Zicam, either the nose gel or tablets, for not getting sick on the planes....Who knows???

Time to get rid of that cold, guys. Edward swears by his Netti pot, but it didn't help him this time. My procedure is not to take anything. I used to try all the remedies and fads and nothing worked. Now I think the body has a better chance dealing with the cold by itself without having to overcome the cold AND the remedies! The cold symptoms show that the body is working to heal itself (and telling us to take it easy while it works).

Did Tobey get home?

Don't overdo it Marje! I bet you were ready to get out a little though. Hope the Costco run was successful and you got to spend some time with Mike just the two of you. Hope he isn't getting the crud.

Hi Ya'll!!! Baby girl is coming down into blue!!! She must be happy Daddybean is home.

Well...our intent was to make a quick trip to Costco since I have to work tomorrow and then Mike is gone until Saturday and we needed some stuff AND we had to go by Petco for some Gussie fuds. Unfortunately, when we went out and got in my SUV....D-E-A-D battery. We have a little charger/jumper in a box so jumped it and took it right to Sears since it has a Die-Hard but then there was a 45 minute wait so we went and grabbed lunch. So the time we had hoped to spend napping today ended up messing with the battery but at least it's taken care of. I have to work tomorrow since Mike will be gone on Wed....I need to be here with Gracie. Will probably work from home that day, too, to make up for last week.

Devon: not too bad and she's coming down!! yay....she was blue for quite some time last night. I'm also hoping Mike doesn't get the full blown version of this junk.

Linda: You are so right but we had to get out and get stuff and decided to do it together since Mike is only here two days this week and I have to work one of them.

Ann: I know...we all just go full steam ahead esp around the holidays, don't we!

Georgia: Costco was CRAZY! But we got what we needed plus some (doesn't everyone...you know, need strawberries and $200 later..... :roll: :roll: :roll: :YMSIGH: :lol: :lol: :lol: )

Ann: My DBFF is in MA with her DH's family for the holidays and my other closest girlfriend has asked me over to spend Thanksgiving with her family which is becoming a tradition since Mike is usually working on the holiday. So...as long as Gracie allows me, I'll be at their house. I sure miss my family, though, esp when Mike is gone.

Roni: :lol: :lol: :lol: Gracie's numbers usually come DOWN when Mike is gone...thus I was teasing him that I think he slips her karo when he's home....but I know he doesn't. It's just coincidence...he thinks he stresses her but she adores him. Thanks for the info on the Zicam...I'll tell Mike!!!

Ella: well...you are right about the cold remedies. I just like nyquil because I conk out and get the sleep I need. Yes...Tobey got home but he was anxious to leave again and go visit Herbie. What a crush he has on her!
I'm trying Rusty.....maybe I'll get there tonight with you!!

Melissa: Yes but not too bad of a bounce. I was ready to get out...cabin fever!!

well better late than never.... i wonder where the day went, **poof** and it was evening. :roll:

bummer on the car battery - that must have been fun. Well, it seems like you were able to take care of it without too much hassle. bummer on the no naps!

Nice even day today for Gracie - one of Mannie's infamous resting days... :lol:
