Yesterday...
Looks like Chino is running version 2.0 of the 11/08 program. Yesterday was similar to 11/07; he was bouncing and got a dose of R at +8 on both cycles (AM and PM). Sure enough, the +4 was blue. This time, I was able to add an Outlook reminder for a +5 when I got back to my desk, and was able to intervene early.
AMPS = 172 (1st meal LC 2%)
[2nd cycle on 10 units of Levemir]
+2 = 301 (freeze-dried treat)
+4 = 174 (2nd meal LC 2%)
+5 = 119 (2 tsp HC 20% gravy)
I'm going to implement a new rule: If he got R on the AM cycle, I won't give it on the PM cycle. It looks like he almost always comes back down after 2 cycles, so if there's no PM nadir or he starts rising again earlier than usual, he's probably getting ready to break the bounce on the next cycle.
