She is pooping normally again but started leaving it in random places around the house again! She stopped doing that. I am not sure how often I should give her the s. Boulardii? Just when she has diarrhea, or more often?

I am sorry to read you have these issues with Bella. I'm sure you checked that but maybe she wants to have more toilets in the house? Binie likes to have two different toilets for peeing and for pooping.

I haven't used s.Boulardii yet and hope, you get good advice.

Maybe you can promise Bella tiny bits of butter as a reward if she uses the toilet?

 

Thank you, Heike! She actually always goes into her box, but then she leaves with the poop still attached... sorry for the image and it falls either when she jumps out, while she runs, or where she decides to scoot. Which is usually the landing of the stairs. Always carpet, of course, it's more funny, right?

 

Ah...o.k.... so she is doing the right thing and uses the toilet but the biology makes it difficult.... Sounds like it is a little soft so it sticks? Does it stick to the fur? Maybe a little shave helps?

And yes, all these things have to be done on carpet. Vomiting, eating mice, getting rid of sticky poop. Here too. And I don't even have much carpet in my appartement.

 

It's not soft, no, thanks to the raw food! Her poop is dry and mostly scentless (when she is not eating butter by the pound, or sourdough starter... you get the idea). I thought about shaving her, but I think she would hate it. And I don't think it sticks to the fur. Whenever I catch her doing it, it seems that it's partly inside still. MAybe she thinks she's done.
It mostly stopped when I started the psyllium husk but started again these last few days. I'll try to give her more water, I noticed her drinking several times today.

 

I am glad this PMPS is today and not tomorrow or Saturday, as we are going out those 2 nights! I am not sure when was the last time she was so low at PS.

Yes! You know, I laugh when I run after her to grab her and “it”. My husband thinks we are both crazy, the cat and me.
