AMPS: 83 1.25u Lantus given after she was syringe fed about 4 cc Catmilk and . 5 oz FFC Cod and Sole feast mixed together. She hasn't been eating much more than a bite or 2 every 2hrs for the last day (2 cycles or so) so I made the decision to give her the food with a syringe as best I could. She didn't fight it to bad but def didn't like it either. I went ahead and shot the 83 in the hopes that her sugars would stay lower for the following day.
+1 206, food spike or stress, or both,
+2 236, sleeping in Donut bed in living room
+5 235 ate a few bites of mid cycle snack, walked away
+7 ate .5 oz BG Turkey, she came up and sat at the food bowl, hasn't asked for food in a day or so
+9 281 We had to remove all the items from our cabinets for the "Bug Guy" to come and treat our APt since our upstairs neighbors have roaches and they keep migrating downstairs angry(2)_cat
so all the kitties are stressed.
PMPS: 302 1.25u given, she also ate .7 oz at this time BG Turkey flavor.
+3 297 sleeping in donut bed
+5 327 refused to eat at this time, will offer more food later, spent most of the evening sleeping between 2 different beds in living room. refused all feeding attempts this eve

Yesterday was a hectic and stressful day for all.
Today so far has been relaxed, and I dont have any stressful stuff planned, just gonna start my cranberry cooking.
AMPS: 323 ate .7 oz FFC Cod and Sole (forget what the 3rd flavor is) gave 1.25u in Right Shoulder. Went back to her bed as soon as we were done.
+6 120 again ate .7 oz BG Ckn and Quail flavor food and was given 1.25u. am gonna just test every 6hrs unless symptoms indicate more are needed.

The other factor that may have affected Sandy's numbers is that she may be bouncing. While the catmilk and stress may be responsible for the pinks, that drop into the greens may have triggered a bounce, as well. When numbers fluctuate like this, some cats just don't feel great. Hopefully, with Sandy now back in the blues, she'll be feeling better.

I should have been shooting her in the lower blues and upper greens and maybe the bouncing wouldnt have happened. Shes still iffy on the eating but is doing better, I found out she doesnt like eating the same flavor/food 2 meals in a row if she can help it (she ate both ffc and bg at PMPS today tho). Guess shes a spoiled kitty, she is my baby tho and I love her so will do whatever it takes to take care of her. We are also thinking her teeth might be part of the problem as she is known for having bad teeth. Have to wait for payday tho cause the Cardiac workup is 150, and then there is the dental on top of that.
