11/21-11/23 Jupiter - chemo yesterday / not feeling well

Jupiter's chemo treatment, ultrasound, and xrays is just 11 hours away. We have to have him there by 8:30 am tomorrow morning so will be leaving here at 6am. I will give him Xanax at 5:30am to help with the stress and anxiety of the long car ride. Please keep Jupiter in your thoughts and prayers. I would soooo greatly appreciate it as I am worried about how stressed he will be tomorrow. Hoping for good test results and no side effects from the chemo treatment.

(This is his 3rd treatment and he will also be getting an ultrasound and xrays done to make sure there are no signs of cancer to make sure this treatment is working.)

Comforting thoughts and prayers for Marje & Mike. Fly free sweet Gus - You are so loved and will be missed and remembered.

Sending lots of calming vines to Jupiter..as well as no chemo side effects vines and NO MORE cancer cells vines too!!

He's such a trooper! ...and he has an amazing bean too!

I will be keeping you, Dane and Jupe in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow, that all goes well and that you hear nothing but good news.

And I'm still hoping to see the "Run, Jupe, Run" video in the near future (unless you posted it already and I missed it?).

Just gave Jupe his xanax a few minutes ago and will be leaving in 25 minutes. Will be posting updates on FB while we are there and will post an update here as soon as we get home. Thoughts and prayers appreciated. Thank you all.

The tests show no evidence of metastatic disease!!!!! :-D :-D

Awesome news, Jamie!! Glad all went well and Jupe is back home where he belongs. Whew!

Poor Jupe still seems so tired and exhausted. Hes done nothing but sleep all day. I woke him up so he would eat earlier and plan to wake him again to give him his Miralax. :sad:

He seems much worse then normal after chemo... Just seems so incredibly tired.

I really hope hes feeling better soon.

Hi Jamie. I was so happy to hear the good report on Jupe. Sorry he is feeling so rough :sad: It is so hard on us to see them like this and I hope he perks up soon. Sending prayers to you all!

We are sending super- healing vines to Jupe this evening. He is a strong boy, and--most important-- he is a cat. I know that he will begin to feel better soon. I also know that you will do everything possible to make him comfortable and to cheer him up.

I'm sorry Jupiter is not feeling well and has been sleeping all day, but sleep will help him get rested up and allow him to feel better. Sending prayers and hugs to you and Jupiter. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
 
Sorry to hear Jupe's having a bad day Jamie! Have they said if he's going to need more chemo or is he done since test showed no cancer?

Sure hope it's the end so he can recuperate from this last round and once again be your healthy, happy kitty 100% of the time!

i think chemo treatments are kinda accumulative, so it's not surprising he is feeling worse this time than last time.

Hi, Jamie. It is hard to see our cat's not feeling well. The sleep will help his body recover. We will continue to pray for strength and recovery for Jupiter.
 
Give that boy some soft scritches for me! Good job, buddy!!!!! You guys kicked some cancer butt and we're so happy for you!!!!

Thank you all so much. He was not acting well today. Slept most of day again and did not want bothered. Hoping he will feel better tomorrow. Gonna wake him up for miralax and food soon.

Thank you so much for your thoughts. I'm sorry I haven't been here to add my support to you, Dane, and Jupe but you know he's always in my prayers.

I'm so happy for you that the tests came back with such great news. I hope he is feeling much better by tomorrow. Did the vets say that each subsequent chemo would result in him feeling worse or having a longer recovery time? Only two more to go....and then nothing but clear sailing and beautiful days of health for Jupe!
