I took her off them after the 2nd dose. I got some Zymox and we're giving that a try.Good luck with that increase. I hope it brings her numbers down some. How long will she stay on the steroids?
I'm glad you increased, the infection could also be raising the numbers. You risk glucose toxicity if she stays higher for too long. You can decrease back down when the numbers tell you to. Good luck with the Zymox.I didn't give her the ear meds today. Should I get the Zymox and keep her insulin the same? Or up the insulin and use the Zymox when it gets here?
I'm hoping it was the ears that caused all this. I've been back and forth to the vet because she was trending higher and there seemed to be no answer. I asked the tech who checked her t4 level to check her ears because the poor cat was miserable. She found the infection. I have to say, Kahlua seems much happier the last couple days.
