Your question from yesterday's post:
I didn't give her the ear meds today. Should I get the Zymox and keep her insulin the same? Or up the insulin and use the Zymox when it gets here?
I'm glad you increased, the infection could also be raising the numbers. You risk glucose toxicity if she stays higher for too long. You can decrease back down when the numbers tell you to. Good luck with the Zymox.

I'm hoping it was the ears that caused all this. I've been back and forth to the vet because she was trending higher and there seemed to be no answer. I asked the tech who checked her t4 level to check her ears because the poor cat was miserable. She found the infection. I have to say, Kahlua seems much happier the last couple days. Her numbers stink, but she is herself again.
