Good morning LL!

4 p's present. A nice pink start. Much better than that red of the last couple of days. DH is still gone so I had two kitties taking up half the bed all night. Tarragon is in a very cuddly, purry, and headbutting mood this morning. He must have heard what a great office assistant Zener is and is trying to do a better job because he will not get off the keys and I've already lost the post twice. Silly guy.

Charlie only got up once in the night, which is a huge improvement over the 10 times the night before. We have poo this morning as well. Yay! Only my FDMB friends would understand what a relief that is. Taking off that fentanyl patch made all the difference in the world. I guess he is just too sensitive to it.

DH gets home this afternoon. The "kids" will all be happy to see him as will I! Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!

Yah! Good report all around. I totally understand how exciting the poo is.  so glad to hear Charlie (and everyone else) had a better night. Tarragon is definitely off to a better start this morning. And so helpful too. What a guy! Have a good day. Will be good to have DH home.

Re: 11/20 Tarragon AMPS 323

The doggy poo IS great news! And it's good to see T off that nasty floor, c'mon down to the blue floor Tarragon!

So how come DH gets all these weekends off?!? Let me guess.......is he a hunter?

I hope you have a great Sunday.

Re: 11/20 Tarragon AMPS 323

You may need to be careful with giving Charlie any kind of opiate. Rather than sedate, some animals (and people) become more agitated. I'm glad you figured it out and he's doing better. I hope Tarragon is less stressed, as well. (You'd think with having half the bed, Tarragon would be relaxed!)

Re: 11/20 Tarragon AMPS 323 +2-299

How did you know Tracy! He likes to call himself one but never takes a shot. I think he just likes to play in the woods. Deer season opened this weekend, so he is down on our land hunting. It has actually been easier to keep Charlie quiet with him gone because Charlie likes to follow everyone around and there is a lot less commotion. DH also is a worrier so I have been able to make executive decisions without having to explain myself.   DH felt bad about going, but I insisted. One less baby to worry about. :-D

Re: 11/20 Tarragon AMPS 323 +2-299

Hi Melissa, nice report on both Charlie and Mr. T. I hope the new pain meds are helping Charlie and great that you learned the Opiates make him agitated. So that was the reason so many trips outside the one night. Yay on psyllium and the poo

Re: 11/20 Tarragon AMPS 323 +2-299

Yellow!! That' sthe right direction Mr. T. Good news on Charlie! Side effects on drugs can be worse than the original problem. I'm glad you figured it out.

Re: 11/20 Tarragon AMPS 323 +2-299

Yayyyy....yellow...keep going in the right direction Tarragon! He must have been worried about Charlie...how sweet! Glad to hear taking the patch off helped Charlie.

Hope things keep improving....you'll have everything settled back to normal by the time DH gets home!

Re: 11/20 Tarragon AMPS 323 +2-299

Good report all around. I know it's been a difficult time for you but I can see why it could be easier to make and implement the decisions on your own  And I would say they were excellent decisions, well implemented!

Re: 11/20 Tarragon AMPS 323 +2-299

HI Melissa!! Nice to see Tarragon in the yellows again--He must have been stressed about Charlie!
Glad to see a Good report on all kitties & especially on Charlie!
!
BTW You Know Opiates constipate us & animals too!! So, being off the fentanyl must have helped him greatly--POO is a necessary event here in LL--   Really
Hope the Healing continues for all, Charlie feels much better, DH doesnt find one single deer, and you feel calm & relaxed...Yes My house was so clean, so calm, so easy while Dh was gone--Oh well we love them anyway!! Hugs & Love from us!

I had a sneaking suspicion that your DH was a hunter. Good guess huh?? It seems i have been surrounded by deer, moose, elk hunters lately and that's all they talk about lately. BORING!!

Melissa, so happy that Charlie is feeling better. Yay for the poop! And furry kitties in the bed are the best. Looks like a pretty even surf going on today for Tarragon.

So your DH is a hunter. My sister's husband is obsessed with it. We are going to their home for Thanksgiving and I only hope it isn't like last year. My sister and I were sitting on their deck drinking a glass of wine when I looked over and there was my brother skinning a poor deer that he shot a few feet away from where we were talking. Talk about disgusting! And then they served venison along with the turkey. My appetite was not too good last year!

Melissa, thank you so much for your words of support today in Simon's condo. To think what you have been through the last few weeks and you still are here supporting everyone else. You are truly an inspiration to all of us!
