Hi everyone,
We are just about recovered from our excesses of the weekend what with back to back partying for Red & Hoot.
Red & Hoot have made such a great friendship and Red certainly is loving his time at the Falls, we hope Hoot is too!!

We have decided to do his BG twice a week for a couple of weeks. Want to catch things quickly if he goes off the boil.
So today his PMBG was 79. Looking good.

Can you believe he was out for a while today and came back with a nasty scrape up the outside of one of his back legs. Taken the skin off. We have bathed it and will be keeping him in for a few days. Probably got his leg stuck and pulled it out while looking for food!! Stupid cat.
Will certainly keep a close eye on it. Do diabetic cats have slower healing times like humans??

Thanks

Kath & Red

Good to see Red is still sailing smoothly. Life is better otj but I miss the daily condos. I am still checking daily for the same reasons you
mention, I want to catch any changes asap.

That leg will be hard to put any medicine on since he can lick it off. Paws crossed that it heals quickly.

Hi guys ... so nice to see that red is still sporting those greens! Sorry to hear about the leg injury, I'm not sure if cat's have a harder time healing if they are diabetic or not .. it will be interesting to find out .. have a great day!

Hi Kath, Glad Red is doing well OTJ! I hope his leg heals quickly and he does not lick his wound too much.
I tested Jasper daily for about 4 weeks after trial, then gradually eased off to now testing ~weekly.
